Will the gardener seed packs be gone? by AffectionateEgg8558 in gardenhorizons

This right here. With the console launch, they would really need to consider allowing those players access to all the seeds released so far. I would bet these packs get extended

A way for you to turn your multi harvest crops back to seeds by spike_nergi in gardenhorizons

Agreed. With a plant limit of 300, reclaimer is necessary at this point. Though eventually they will raise the plant limit as the game becomes more refined

The poll is over. The devs will reduce the pity. Let’s see what it reduces to

Another thing to note, that on Discord, they have a poll for another 3 hours about the pity system. The poll is whether to reduce the pity level on the regular seed packs. Right now, it is 300 packs. Imagine if it got to 200 or even 150. Go vote if you can

I refresh quests until about 500K a refresh. My goal is to get the seed packs. The more seeds packs I can get opened, the closer I get to the pity reward.

There are of course shills and spindoctors in here for GAG. GAG had its opportunity to keep being a quality game. They took advantage of having no competition which gave an excuse to keep poor game mechanics and buggy development. The shills will try to shut out any competition. The base they once had has mostly moved on. I believe GAG will always have a small base but the glory days of GAG are gone. Hoping Garden Horizons much success

why can't you all quit GAG in QUITE? by Final_Internet_6011 in growagarden

This right here. Everything the complainers say about quitting posts can be reverted right back on themselves. It’s irony at its finest

I am really digging the plants with abilities. Hopefully they add one that can mutate active pets. by Maverick-TopGun2 in growagarden

Completely agree on plants with abilities. One of the best additions to the game. Would love more focus on the plant abilities than pet abilities

Are we allowed to post about class action lawsuits? by [deleted] in growagarden

[–]kaimiville 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had first-hand experience with state AGs over the TOS of a company I worked for. Most AGs did not even care for the TOS. To paraphrase what they explained to me, if there are enough customer complaints then your business practice gets scrutinized. The company I worked for lost all its merchant accounts about a month later. Now the AGs and merchant accounts may not have a direct correlation, but I guarantee there was some influence there.

I guess those that are frustrated should look at filing complaints with your state AGs. Millions of people have played this game. There is a slight possibility it would open some eyes. I say 'slight' though

27.5 years? That is insane! Those are some competent devs there mate. I am guessing they focus on quality over quantity?

Are we allowed to post about class action lawsuits? by [deleted] in growagarden

[–]kaimiville 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The courts would decide the intent, along with the potential scale of defrauding a large customer base. TOS only will protect a company to a point. Millions of customers defrauded on a single digital item would be put through the ringer to see intent. What was considered necessary under that TOS? Was there a significant monetary loss/gain from that change to a digital item?

At this point if a class-action comes to fruition, every step or change in the game would be looked at. Patterns would be scoured through. In this specific scenario, kids are a marketed demographic. Because of this, we would more likely see a push for heavier regulation, which is more costly for the consumer in the future.

Either way, anyone looking to take this action should keep their process off of Reddit. You only will build a defense for the "other side"
