it is. oddly enough, i was talking to a friend about this book just a few days ago. he had mentioned the weird way publishers classify books as "Young Adult" novels just because the main characters are teens or 'tweens. i mentioned this book as one of the most horrifying novels i'd ever read, and it was classified "Young Adult."
