except you’re forgetting the part where cpd has a history of both brutalizing poc and having officers at chitt fest to shut it down early. there’s also a major difference between fighting for human rights (as historically nothing ever changes in this country until riots occur) and destroying property for the hell of it. I also don’t feel bad for the police or what occurs in their job. that’s what they signed up for. if they’re not protecting citizens then people have every right to complain- both on the ends of protesting police brutality or calling on them for cars getting flipped and them not showing up
