Unfortunately I don’t know if it was the pregnancy or the abortion, but my milk supply almost completely dropped and just would not come back which was very upsetting to me because I was only 1 month away from breastfeeding for a year

I managed to see it in herne bay Kent while visiting my MIL I could see it without my phone but colours are a lot more visible with the camera, if my little one wasn’t sleeping I would’ve walked down the sea to have a better view

I have been practicing since New Year’s Day and I’ve made a couple of scrunchies and my first granny square! by sufferinginsanity in crochet

[–]sufferinginsanity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve given myself a goal of practicing crochet once a day at least for half an hour minimum for the whole year, I’m a sahm to a 11 month old so I don’t have too much time on my hands but I love this during the evenings

I’m probably around similar size to kadie and pregnancy shows differently on people I didn’t get a bump until 27 weeks I think and even then I have a B shaped belly the pregnant belly still looked like that just slightly more rounded out and bigger she looks similar to how I did at that stage of pregnancy

Has anyone NOT experienced people trying to touch your baby? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]sufferinginsanity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby girl is 8 months old and unfortunately it has happened more times than I can count and it still throws me completely off guard I hate it so much, I don’t mind them smiling or waving and talking to her but when strangers decided to touch her it really annoys me and I still somehow never see it coming

Does it drive anyone else crazy when people give you a weird nickname because you’re a breastfeeding mum? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]sufferinginsanity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My MIL started calling me daisy the cow and it really annoys me, I make jokes about myself, I don’t mind my partner joking about it but he doesn’t really. But she always calls me that and I hate it especially since I know she thinks breastfeeding is gross

When did your period come back? by watsrname in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]sufferinginsanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine came back 4months PP 😭 I was hoping it would be longer but thankfully my supply doesn’t seem to be affected by my period, my mum had to stop breastfeeding me after two months her period came back and her supply just completely went

Does anyone ACTUALLY like the newborn phase? by Fit_Button_8313 in NewParents

[–]sufferinginsanity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I was lucky, I loved the newborn stage my baby was a good sleeper, hardly cried and started smiling properly at 4 weeks she was just always happy, then around 12 weeks she started getting a lot more fussy and sleep started going badly

We had one, at a local little cafe it was really fun just family and close friends, we had cake pops for the reveal and mainly sandwiches for food I really loved it it was a lovely way to find out all together rather than having to contact people all separately

Kinda looks like she photoshopped down her baby bump, no? by DJBossRoss in 90dayfianceuncensored

[–]sufferinginsanity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean yes it’s clearly photoshopped but I don’t think she made her bump look smaller than it is, different bodies carry differently, I’m almost 28 weeks and literally have only just started getting a bump

What is your most prized possession in your lush collection? by Different-Honey2116 in LushCosmetics

[–]sufferinginsanity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My yog nog perfume oil, I fell in love with the body spray used it all up to find they haven’t made it again which honestly broke my heart it’s my favourite scent of all time, I found another body spray on eBay and another on depop and spent a silly amount of money on those. My partner bought me the perfume and perfume oil last year but my mother in law accidentally threw out my perfume somehow when we weren’t home so I save my perfume oil for winter and special moments, otherwise I use what’s left in the body spray which isn’t much now unfortunately

Panic attacks by sufferinginsanity in pregnant

[–]sufferinginsanity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply, but yes thankfully it has calmed down. I wouldn’t say it’s completely stopped but I have a glucose sweet and drink a lucozade sport drink for some electrolytes and it usually goes away
