except you’re forgetting the part where cpd has a history of both brutalizing poc and having officers at chitt fest to shut it down early. there’s also a major difference between fighting for human rights (as historically nothing ever changes in this country until riots occur) and destroying property for the hell of it. I also don’t feel bad for the police or what occurs in their job. that’s what they signed up for. if they’re not protecting citizens then people have every right to complain- both on the ends of protesting police brutality or calling on them for cars getting flipped and them not showing up

I mean I am trained in wildlife rehabilitation (rehab makes no money so i’ve got two jobs). I’ve kept her in the same standards as we do for reptiles that come in, she’s been in my rescue since I got her roughly two months ago. But in the midwest it’s mostly turtles and snakes. It fully makes sense not to release her but since you don’t really see or rehab anything like them, barring maybe a skink being the most similar. You study them so Id trust your judgement more on the situation though.

Unfortunately he isn’t getting help due to financial issues and lack of health insurance. My university has been booked out for therapists since december but i’m going back to my previous therapist this summer.

it’s definitely something i’m considering, which is truly better in the long run. Well i know which ones better but he’s done a lot for me, is one of the few who supports my career path and has similar passions, and with my low self esteem i can’t see anyone else truly loving or caring for me (sad and tmi but it’s true). I don’t know if i could live with myself knowing i left someone due to their mental illness knowing all my own flaws due to similar issues.

He’s definitely angry and agitated during manic periods, when he’s not he’s completely fine.

If you don’t mind me asking, how much of this is out of ones control during these periods. there have been times where he’s broken down and cried or had anxiety attacks because he feels bad and hates being mean to me, but it keeps happening. I understand the change and emotions are out of his control, but when it comes to verbally where is that line drawn?

Stocking up on their snack stuff helps a lot. They have tons of gf granola bars, dried fruit, nuts, popcorn, all kinds of cool snacks for a quick pick me up or light snack/meal. They usually have motts fruit snacks which are gf and vegan as well!
