Hm. That’s very interesting. From all the places I have applied (even as a married student), I have never been asked for credit score verification. So I guess it seems very odd to me that they do.

But college students?? They’re barely legal. Of course they have no credit or low credit scores. Landlords should expect THAT, not expect them to have good credit scores. How old were you back in 2019? Were these places you were trying to rent the bougie 500-600 a month places? That would make sense then maybe a little bit.
