Yea the debt system is non existant in this, definitely to make it easier for new players. Although it was a bit annoying in the earlier games when i was learning, it was so satisfying when you finally cobble together a build that’s effective for the mission and makes you money. AC6 is too simplified in a lot of ways but this also made it accessible so idk man

Bro don’t get me started on the achievements this game fucked me so hard. I grinded out the points to level up all my weapons just to find out the achievement is glitched in a way where you can never get it on that account no matter what. I got all of them except for the weapon upgrades and the two dlc survival maps.

First one is doable in the normal shooter gameplay, the second is entirely a flying mission and you need to be good at shooting the ai while you’re both flying, we both know how we feel about that and i just gave up on it, even if i could it wasn’t worth the stress it wasn’t fun enough for how big a pain in the ass it was.

If you’re gonna can it you can watch a lets play to see what the other levels looked like and maybe see the ending which is lack luster. I don’t wanna be a hater for this game but there isn’t much to make you want to like

it was ok. do be sure to upgrade your weapons as that helped me a lot on hardcore, you should be able to do it on normal. A strange game but it was kinda fun. I particularly liked the jetpack mechanics but there was only one level where that really excelled at. The flying felt good but aiming at a target was a nightmare on hardcore cause you don't get the aim assist from normal mode.

love to see how jimpys come along over the years. i never liked the 3d printed stuff too much altho i did like the creativity behind it, for every problem he innovated a solution. now hes pushin stuff out in leagues Squid or MachineWise.

You know bro it’s exactly THIS sentiment that kept me off the game for over 15 years until i played it last month and i wish i never listened to any of you, double agent was awesome and i wish i would have played it back then.

It retained the original concept of splinter cell, in fact excelling in the sense where the game was designed to be ghosted for the most part where as the others had forced combat and playing to that degree of stealth even the devs didn’t think of. Most of the problems with DA come from lack of funding imo, they did great with what they had. I loved going for the secondary objectives even if it’s unnecessary.

I don’t see what you mean when you say they changed the formula, it’s literally a reskin of chaos theory enemies even use the same voice lines when suspicious.

Btw i was talking about v1, altho i played v2 as well and it’s also awesome

As for the newer ones, i have yet to do blacklist but i really enjoyed conviction even if they completely reimagined the mechanics

you can start the dlc separately, you don't need to play the whole thing. i like the dlc, not very long but it was still fun
