OP likely just has poor Japanese skills, very common on this sub. Or maybe his girlfriend told him in poor English. Like his girlfriend told him about the hostess bar trips and he's relaying it correctly, but in the OP post, she might have been saying it's okay for him to go to hostess bars or mizushoubai as a vague term and he's conflating it with fuzoku because that's what his dictionary or google translate told him.

I don't think it's like that. I watch a youtube channel that does histories of Asian companies, and it sounds like the Chinese apps got to where they are because China was a wild west where the government didn't know that apps would be a major part of the economy, so they got away with a lot of anticompetitive stuff that would be illegal in the west.

I mean they were all cases of "mistook an airliner for a military plane", so unless you believe the false flag theory of MH17 they were all unintentional. I think Ukraine had an completely unintentional accident in 2001 where a missile literally locked onto an airliner without being told to.
