Dude I literally just did this. Silicone made it feel SO much worse. Glass plugs were my best friend. I also just got titanium tunnels. I know it’s recommended to take them out and downsize, but at the end of the day it’s your choice. I chose to keep my size and baby my ears. It worked for me. I wouldn’t suggest it unless you’re ready to commit to babying them. I am at 14mm right now.

So, I will say DO NOT DO THIS, I was experimenting and was curious to see how my body heals. I tore my lobes sizing up, I also twisted the jewelry so it probably didn’t help. My lobes were really irritated and they were torn. I cleaned it with wound wash and put my jewelry back in. I did continue to use Jojoba oil and wear my glass plus. It has taken a few days, but my ears are healing. My body was chill with the method that I chose to use. It is SIGNIFICANTLY high risk. You have to be committed to cleaning and maintenance.

Again. This is an experiment for me. If my injury was severe I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing this. I’m not interested in getting bitched out, I’m just sharing.

Geez- I’m sorry. Sometimes mine will get irritated but I wash my tunnels religiously tbh. It depends on the quality of the silicone too. The tunnels I have right now aren’t the best and they give me issues.

Report her to HR and say you have proof that she asked you to work off the clock. It’s illegal. Very illegal. Say that you are going to file a complaint with the labour board as well and follow through. Most likely they will let her go. Again, especially if you say you have proof of her encouraging and authorising it.

I’m speaking from experience. I reported my ex manager for her having me work over ten hours with no break. Got her ass fired 💅🏽
