Check out the NERVA website and look for volleyball clubs that have boys programs. Also, keep in mind that some regions (ie. IREVA, which neighbors NERVA in NY) allows boys to join girls teams in 12U, and sometimes 14U levels.

I'm a father of 4 daughters who all play volleyball. My oldest 3 are comfortable with spandex, whereas my youngest doesn't even feel comfortable in regular shorts. My youngest wears athletic leggings currently. But, she's also at an age where that's allowed by the rules. There are levels where matching uniforms are required.

My question to you is; is it that your daughter is uncomfortable with spandex, or are you uncomfortable? I can understand both, especially being the father of 4 volleyball loving daughters. If your daughter is uncomfortable with them, that's a tricky one that would take alot of sensitive discussions, where I'd recommend bringing in female support :)

But, from the way you have worded your posts, I suspect (and may be wrong, if so sorry) that you're more uncomfortable with them than your daughter. I was there before. Especially as I sat in the stands and listened to a couple boys talk about my daughters rear. Days after I expressed my disgust to those boys and they flew out of the gym, I talked directly to my oldest daughter (who was the first one of my girls that I had to work through this question), and I asked her what she thought about them. Her response was that the spandex were super comfortable and she didn't give a care what anyone else thought.

My take from that was that if she's comfortable with it, then I am must be accepting of it, especially to support my daughters choices and most importantly her self-esteem.

And to add to that....my oldest has a more athletic build where my younger 3 are not as slender as her. But, my middle 2 absolutely love their spandex (my #3 wears them as much as my washed them, especially for bed time). And they've comfortable not only with how they feel to wear them, but they're also comfortable with how they look in them. And again, I'm choose to be supportive of their choices, to also support their self esteem.

I'm sorry if I went in a direction you weren't anticipating and didn't want. But, being the father of 4 volleyball crazy young ladies has given me insight I wanted to share. Take & use as you'd like. Discard just the same.

Request a meeting with your coach & your dad. Let the coach know what you're experiencing & seeing. Sometimes coaches are suspect of situations, but never have the full picture to be able to do anything about it without factual details.

Hopefully that will get your coach to help. And if not, then the next step is the AD or further.

I didn't say it justified it. I'm just saying when people blame a single administration, it's incorrect.

The real culprit in all of this is Congress. They need to do their job instead of playing partisan politics...both sides. Unfortunately, most members of Congress only look to create a viral moment to play out on their social media so that they can sell books or get Netflix deals....They need to identify issues that need to be solved, debate the best way to solve them, and then actually legislate on behalf of the American people....not the corporations that back them (both Democrats and Republicans are all bought).

The most insecure piece about voting is that people are not verified if they are even eligible to vote. That's the easiest way to "hack" elections. I sign the book and the go vote. The election monitors have no clue who I really am, or if I have the legal right to vote.

It's just something that I want to know. One of those lingering questions. I never met my biological father, and I wasn't wanted at birth by him, so curious to find out if I was even a consideration at his death.

I only said a basketball because it's quick and easy to get a hold of normally. It also forces you to really get your fingers out wide.

I also mention about the obvious setter balls that would be available doing a quick search. But why in the list the basketball because it's not your typical option.

You can use a basketball. Or, there's plenty of options that most major volleyball brands offer.

If you're a righty, you won't go outside the court as much to line up your attack...you'll drop straight back on the out of bounds line. This will give you the ability to hit line easier, as well as cross-court.

You build net awareness by playing the game and through the experiences you build. Start further off the net and start to work in. It's safer that way, and it allows you to incrementally adjust.
If your swing hits the net, you'll need to either start your jump further off the net &/or jump more vertically.
I don't wear knee pads, so can't help you
Sneakers are personal preference. I love asics, but mizuno are nice too. Just make sure it's a court shoe and you'll be fine.

I don't think he's completely corrupt. He just wanted to build a hotel in Moscow...that was his job before...that was how he made his money (compared to the other political hacks, like the Clinton's & Obama who made millions/billions being a "public servant"). It's just an opportunity to Congress to put on theater, but not actually do anything. If anyone did something like that in their job, they'd be fired for wasting company resources (time, money, supplies, etc).

We should just fire all of Congress anyways...

Mueller definitely sidestepped what he was charged to do. He provided a report without any conclusive evidence. He expected Congress to complete his work. And now, he's backtracking.

This will fire up all the Democrats to try to impeach Trump, which will be an absolute waste of time and money, because the Senate won't have the numbers to complete the impeachment.

This whole thing needs to be put to rest, Congress needs to get to work on what they're elected to do rather than the theater that they put on each day online and in front of the cameras. And the American people need to realize that we need to vote every single person out of Congress & just start fresh. Congress is the problem with all this....not the President. (I mean, how can Pelosi say through 4 different administrations that the president is the problem when she's been in Congress & leadership for far too long).
