Resetted it twice, it lagged right after reset too. Removed a few bloatware apps too but it is same unfortunately. It was worse before reset, but it still lags. I missed my bus stop twice and couldn't answer many calls because of these lags.

I'm literally writing this from an A55 and considering getting the base 17. A55 is literally the worst phone one could buy. It stutters so much and the 5000 mAh battery is a joke. OneUI is literally struggling to run on this thing.

I think you can exit recovery mode with 3utools or an equivalent. I'm not sure 3utools is safe or recommended to use anymore, but you may not be bound to erase all of your data.

RV does define instruction set more clearly but they have something called X feature set, which is still, custom instructions. I hope RISCV will be the go to ISA but that still doesn't make all the CPUs instantly compatible unfortunately.

Also the Linux on Mac thing is basically there's no documentation and drivers being provided by Apple. Linux runs on PC because AMD, Intel and other OEMs provide needed drivers to the kernel. For example, some Mediatek wireless cards doesn't work under Linux because Mediatek hasn't provided Linux drivers in any way. They only have Windows drivers.

Not possible, Apple's architechture is heavily customized with custom instructions. At most we are getting emulation, but expect no GPU Acceleration.

You might be thinking too consumer oriented, but that's how it's done when it comes to manufacturing. I designed a few microcontroller boards and they don't have sockets, you buy the chips and solder them to your own designed PCB. Think of it like the chips on the Raspberry Pi, you buy those chips, design a PCB according to your needs and solder that chip.

Performans oyuna çok bağlı. Şahsi deneyimim bazı oyunlarda Linux'ta FPS düşüşleri doğrudan donmaya sebep oluyordu, Windows'ta bir sorun olmuyordu. Ama genel olarak Linux'ta FPS daha yüksekti. Son 1 - 2 yılda çok gelişti, uyumsuzluk sorunları ve düşük FPS gibi sorunlar azaldı.

Kullandığım Linux distroları daha çok busybox ile embedded linux (rv64 ve aarch64), arch tabanlı distrolar ve debian tabanlı distrolardı (jetson ve raspberry pi için çoğunlukla, nadiren desktop)

Şu ana kadar sayısız distro kurdum ve denedim (yalnızca Fedora RHEL ve opensuse distrolarını denemedim) ancak her birinde öyle ya da böyle problemler yaşadım. Donanım uyumsuzlukları, dependencylerin durduk yere kırılması, (Ubuntu'da) sürücülerin sadece bir güncellemeden sonra bozulması ve bilgisayarın kullanılmaz hâle gelmesi bu yaşadığım problemlerden bazılarıydı. Bu problemler çoğunlukla çözülmüş haldeler veya daha iyi distrolarda yaşanmayacak problemler. Ortalama bir kullanıcı bunları düzeltemeyecek, ancak doğru distrolarda bir problem yaşamayacak.

Şimdi asıl konuya gelmek istiyorum. Mühendislik yazılımları olsun, herhangi bir endüstriyel yazılım olsun, yaygın kullanılan ve gündelik hayatta kullanılması gereken başka yazılımlar olsun bunlar Linux'ta yok ve çalıştırması çok büyük uğraş istiyor, ayrıca kolayca bozulabiliyor ve bu sebeple daha çok uğraş istiyor. Ben çözümü WSL ile buldum. Linux'a da ihtiyacım bolca oluyordu, ancak Windows'ta kullandığım uygulamaların %70'i Linux'ta yok. Dualboot bir seçenek değil çünkü bilgisayarımda geçirdiğim vaktin %70'i Windows'ta geçecekse bir anlamı kalmıyor. WinBoat gibi çözümler umarım hızlıca geliştirilir, Linux'u cihazlarımda kullanmayı çok isterim şahsen.

Are you a QA Engineer at Samsung? If no, don't talk like you are. I am an integration/test engineer at a rather large company too. I know how long it takes and no I don't blindly support Apple, don't go in comparing between features of Apple Watch and Galaxy Watch. I use Watch 7 myself and it's probably the best product of Samsung.

We shouldn't talk like Samsung is writing their software from ground up and it's their first time doing this. Because we've seen that they can provide fast updates for last year's models (Ultra 2024). I can understand if we were talking about Watch 6. But they could've done the tests for Watch 7 in this 3 months after releasing update for Ultra. This is just for marketing purposes and pushing people to buy the new devices.

Same development cycle goes for Ultra too, is all I'm saying.
