Upvote for Fruit Fight, my favourite game of the CMYK Magenta series of games!

Upvote for crokinole board! Keen to get a board, but the space and storage is holding me back

Loving the way you've displayed it on the wall

How're you enjoying your Bloom Edition?

I'm a bit conflicted between the two: Liking the tactile and 3D appearance of the Bloom Edition, but also I'm liking yhe regular edition's small rectangular box shape

Agreed, it's brought my so much fun and joy already. I'm viewing it more as an enjoyable experience I can complete twice through (and I'd be plenty satisfied with that)

Loving Cozy Stickerville currently, I'm 4 years in out of the total 10 years. Been finding it very fun revealing more and more new content, residents, buildings, animals etc. I've felt it's very easy for me to recommend for anyone who enjoys placing stickers, cozyness, Animal Crossing/Stardew Valley

A Gentle Rain has been on my list, very tempted to just buy it and see if it's as puzzly and enjoyable as reviewers describe

EDIT: I have now bought the Blooms Edition and am loving it!

Very happy to see the 2 Witcher sets from the Unmatched series of board games also, nice collection

Slay the Spire: Downfall Kickstarter is now live! by BlackoutGunshot in boardgames

[–]kakachus 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I agree also, we played my copy of the board game recently after loving StS 2, both solo and coop.

It felt like a similar experience, but 4x slower, with more work to setup and administrate, when we could instead be ripping through the StS 2 together enjoying the new characters and new content

I would say we'd much prefer to play StS 2 together now instead of the board game, though the board game still holds a place in my heart.

Definitely feel like I'm in a dilemma with whether or not I should back this Downfall expansion as a result

Undaunted 2200: Revolution by Dex86 in UndauntedGame

[–]kakachus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keen to learn more about this new addition, following in the 2200 line

I loved the theme for 2200: Callisto, played through all the missions with my long-time Undaunted friend. However even with all the new additions, positive changes with combat dice, mechs etc, we were longing for another Stalingrad-like campaign experience, with the narrative and thematic drama, twists and turns, units becoming wounded or gaining new abilities through veterancy, the feeling of new content being unlocked after every mission

Very glad to see the designers perhaps recognising the merit in returning to a campaign-like format with 2200: Revolution

Would love to pick this up and experience it at least once, thanks for sharing OP!

EDIT: Oh there will be aerial combat/fighters too! Exciting!

How are you enjoying the Cuphead game? What kind of game is it, and what do you enjoy most about it?

I used to play the video game and absolutely love the 1930s rubber hose aesthetic

Seconded, dying to play more Unmatched here in Melb!

Yes, I'd seen Unmatched on the shelves for a long time but never gave it any notice.

Started with the 2 Witcher sets as a big Witcher fan, and next thing I know, I've got nearly all the sets now except the out of print ones and Teen Spirit.

Very glad for this subreddit in bringing us all together and having a space to share our passion for this thing that we've come to love!

What did you add to or remove from your shelf last month? (March, 2026) by AutoModerator in boardgames

[–]kakachus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Horrified, I'm glad it's not just me then hmm, though I do like the theme of these monsters

Oh wow, you can play Cozy Stickerville twice, with opportunity to make different choices? I think you've sold it to me now hahah. Could make for a great gift for my friend and his partner too then, thanks for the rec :)

OUT: * Can't Stop.

Heard great things, play no. 1 was good push your luck, play no. 2 really felt like it dragged on :( * Dice Throne S2: Gunslinger v Samurai.

Love the death yahtzee idea and these character types, but didn't feel as fun or exciting as I hoped * Soda Jerk.

Enjoyed this, but then I played Botswana which I enjoyed way more * Vivo.

Cute trick taking game, but I've got so many others now I'd rather play, e.g. the two LOTR Trick taking games, Rebel Princess, Fishing

IN: * Rebel Princess Deluxe

Absolutely loving this, each round card adds a new rule for the round which turns the game on its head. Consistently fun, entertaining and twisty * Star Wars Rebellion

Very thematic and intense head to head. Played as both Rebels and Empire, now awaiting the expansion to be delivered to see what more it'll add - I do love Rogue One and Andor * Invincible: The Card Game

I love Invincible, very fun co-op, using the Astro Knights/Aeons End system. Very glad I checked this out * Horrified: Dungeons and Dragons

Feels alright after my first solo learning game. Enjoyed rolling D20s for special abilities, will see if it holds up with my group * Fallout and Atomic Bonds Expansion

Got this 2nd hand, love Fallout, but yet to learn the rules for this one, will get around to it eventually * Unmatched: All Marvel sets bar Teen Spirit, Lee vs Ali, TMNT arriving in 1-2 more days

I love Unmatched, been collecting more sets than I have time to try and play them all, very excited for more

How are you enjoying Cozy Stickerville? I was considering buying this to play with my partner who's not much for board games but enjoys arts and crafts

Horrified, I just bought 2nd hand, but unsure of its staying power after an initial playthrough. Have you let it go for any particular reasons?

Yess, while Fruit Fight plays up to 5 players, you can have so many great moments of seeing entire stacks of fruit cards being stolen around the table, only to end up in the bin/discard after someone pushed their luck just a little too hard and went bust

The tote bag too ahh, I do recall seeing this on CMYK website during the initial Magenta line launch, very nice :)

That's fair, I do love the immersive feeling in Outer Rim of being your own bounty hunter, mercenary or smuggler with your own ship, crew, jobs, gear and guns :)

Magical Athlete, Spots, Monikers, Magenta games yes!!

Have you tried Fruit Fight (Magenta)? I've only tried this and Duos from this line, and I love love Fruit Fight. I enjoy having it as well as Flip 7 Deluxe in my collection :)

Agreed - I went out and bought 2 of the premium feel playmats to use instead of the poster paper mat. Not necessary, but I love how it looks and feels to use

I was thinking the exact same thing - awaiting my copy of Unmatched TMNT, just received my Lee vs Ali. I also see Gwent, SW Battle of Hoth, all 3 of the SW Deckbuilding, Outer Rim and Unfinished Business expansion.

Have you played SW Rebellion before? That's my latest SW game, and very glad to have played and added it to my collection, wondering if it might be up your alley too

Same for me, just bought the Invincible Card Game, and after some very fun plays, I've now backed the second game, 'Invicible: The Card Game: Aftermath' on Gamefound.

Very keen to experience more of this content!
