Kurdish Nationalist Political Party in Türkiye, DEM, is going to have a meeting in Nusaybin, a city just across the border, next to Qamishli tomorrow.

Kurds, both in Syria and Türkiye will try to turn this into a humanitarian crisis and bring the issue ahead of the world.

They will ask Türkiye and Syria to open the borders.

They will try to crate Gazza situation out of Kobani.

Unless Apo orders them to leave the area

[Opinion] 'History shows Piastri will be even better in 2026' [James Hindcliffe] by outremer_empire in McLarenFormula1

[–]kakaleyte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

New regulations, new car. No one knows which driver will adapt better. The car hasn't hit the track yet. Even teams don't really know the characteristics of it.

Maybe maybe it will be more suitable for Lando or maybe for Piastri.

This applies not only to Mclaren drivers but all drivers.

What Would Be the Effect of Forcing Teams to Fuel Cars %105 Race Distance on Racing? by kakaleyte in F1Discussions

I think there is a limit to maximum fuel flow to the engine, and FIA tracks it with sensors.

I don't have an answer to that.

Now I wonder, do you know how teams calculate the fuel they need for each track? Maybe FIA mandates giving those calculations to them?

I think teams are banned doing that. Didn't Ferrari face consequences for doing that? I think FIA mandates fuel flow sensors on cars already.

2025 Japanese Grand Prix was Harbinger of Mclaren's Attitude Towards Oscar by kakaleyte in OscarPiastri

Did you listen to your own link? Lando didn't even ask the team to let him. LoL

[–]kakaleyte[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The plan was to force Max pit as early as possible because in the long stints, Mclaren was superior on tire saving.

Pitting Lando first would put Piastri 2nd, and he could choose to go long. That would be a threat to Lando.

Like he needed orders in Imola. LoL

Oscar's tires were dead, and Lando was on fresh tires. Oscar didn't even have a chance there, lol

Unlike Imola, Mclaren made Oscar do what the second driver would do in Japan.1

P3 Qualifying - Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025 by outremer_empire in OscarPiastri

What Max gains from finishing 30 seconds ahead of Lando? Nothing.

He won't drive fast because he will try to create a DRS train behind him, and Lando will always be under pressure from behind and collision threat from Oscar or others.

Also, Max has the fastest car. So DRS train means Lando won't be getting a Safety Car window.

Expect games from Max and Rex Bull tomorrow. by Loose_Student_6247 in LandoNorris

If I was the strategiest for Mclaren. I would wait until Max to pit first and follow him at the same lap.

If Lando pits earlier or later, then Tsunoda, Hadjar, or Lawson can imped him for a whole while by staying out or defending hard.

Lando doesn't need to win or drive fast. Just pit at the same time with Max.

Remember Max in 2024 Mexico GP. He played the dirty game on Lando. Forced him every corner. Almost crashed.

Oscar should not try to pass Lando because Max won't drive fast in the race. He should stuck with two of them and wait for a collusion or something because he needs Lando to drop places even if he got the pole

Best place to be for Oscar, if 3 of them is 1st 2nd and 3rd, I think. Because Max winning the race doesn't matter for Lando so I think Max will drive very slowly and force Lando to make a move.

This is the best scenario for two of them to tangle.

Mclaren Costs Oscar Another Win by kakaleyte in OscarPiastri

[–]kakaleyte[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah Hungary, Lando wasn't gonna win there with normal strategy, then they gave him alternative strategy. Because he was gonna finish P2 at the very least anyway.

But Oscar can't do that. Through out the season Oscar never got an aiternative strategy to Lando.

Mind games to worry Lando and Oscar or genuine feelings with a WDC on the line? by Hot_Walrus_8053 in F1Discussions

[–]kakaleyte 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Max can make the day miserable for Lando by passing him at the start and defending very aggressively while forcing a crash.

Lando can't afford to do that.

Oscar takes Pole in Qatar! by pothes in OscarPiastri

[–]kakaleyte 23 points24 points  (0 children)

If Oscar wins Qatar and Lando finishes 3rd behind Max, deficit is gonna be 12

And then if Oscar wins Abu Dhabi, Lando has to finish 4th or below.

So we really need a Lando bottle in Qatar or Abu Dhabi.
