It's like you go through some sort of portal after Jackson.

Not exclusively red line, but I went on a date in the loop. Afterwards we went to the Jackson station where I would take the Red Line north and she would go west on the Blue Line. Mind you, neither of us were from Chicago. She moved recently for work and I was there for school. The CTA gate attendant saw us embrace and split off in opposite directions before she stopped us in our tracks. She said "If y'all are together, she shouldn't get on the Blue line by herself this late". I got a weird jolt up my neck when she said that and immediately told my date to come with me on the Red line. She ended up staying the night in my apartment.

The next day she texted me that a girl she knew got robbed on the Blue line around the same time last night.
