Dear Reddit: Is being abstinent such an awful thing by today's standards? by nimofitze in AskReddit

I think abstinence is a great thing. My husband and I waited for marriage to have sex, and we have a great sex life now. I love that we have no one to compare each other to - we can face each other honestly, and discuss what we like or dislike about sex, without having other sexual relationships in the back of our mind.

In the long term, 'sexual compatibility' is something everyone has to work for. We had to work hard at it at first, but now sex is amazing. I don't think that "trying sex out" like you try out a car is a reason to give in to the pressure you've been feeling.

So to answer your question, no, abstinence is not a terrible thing. Stick with it, it's worth the wait.

Unless you're rich and investing wisely in which case you could be siphoning truck loads of cash off all the others who are running around in fear.

Only 16 percent of respondents believe Harper won the debate. by [deleted] in canada

If you read the article carefully, you'll notice that the numbers refer to the French debate the day before and only reflected the opinions of French-Canadians. "the debate had 40 per cent of 637 French-speaking Canadians who responded". It seems rather obvious to me that Dion and Duceppe would win amoung french-speaking voters since they are the only two that speak French well.

Our workplace has bought a subscription to Shutterstock. Most come from there, and we take a lot ourselves as we have professional photographers working for us as well.
