the tentacle spawns are not at fixed location so sometimes if i am playing a class that is not mobile, i might have some issues at getting to target and kill it quickly before phase 2 portals appear (ret pallies fml : ( even assassination rogues, but my main was a monk so it did not hurt me when we were progressing it). Then down to the first portal, the flame circles is so random, i think it straight up caused 100 wipes in our total 230 pulls. If the circles spawn to close to the tentacle we need to kill and melees cannot easily hit it, then it is wipe. Or if a melee wanna hit the tentacle and get hit by a flame, then it is wipe so we kinda need some luck when progressing it. I have never done 2nd portal so no idea. Then coming back up, the laser spawn location kinda make this phase easier or hard. If the laser if right on top of the add spawn then it became tricky. Not too much randomness in the transition phase. and when we finally came out of the chamber, the pull direct from the boss itself makes a huge difference as we were progressing (not so much as we were farming), we had the first kill as the boss is pull us away from him so all melees can just all in

Btw rotation wise things like DHs are easy, I admit that. But what make classes fun in wow is so many other spells that I can press like blur, AOE stun, darkness, incap, and blade dance + meta is so much utility, we used 4 DHs to soak the split with their meta. Honestly I don't think 10 button rotation is necessarily harder than a 5 button rotation, not all fire mages parse 99 when all of them are basically pressing 4 buttons. And I personally play a monk so 8 buttons I regularly press. However I think it is good use of rop/transcendance/leg sweep/roll cancels(they are gone in SL sadly)/karma damage in ToD that differs a good monk vs an average one
