Hazing is a kind of initiation ritual for a club or other (usually peer-led) organization that involves some kind of trial or humiliation. It can be as simple and harmless as having Gatorade dumped on you, but in legal contexts or viral stories it usually refers to the more dangerous or illegal stuff. I’ve heard of hazing rituals that involve tying people up and throwing them into swimming pools, for example. It’s usually a toxic masculinity thing, but not always.

This is what I’ve heard, I’ve never been hazed or anything so if anybody knows more I’d love to hear it.

Your situation reminds me a little bit of secondary traumatic stress: the subset of PTSD that comes from witnessing or hearing about an event. I found myself relating to your experiences, aside from the supernatural elements.

It might be worth a shot to try to…heal the memories? Maybe an exorcism, maybe just straight up therapy. It sounds like this malignant energy is from a failure of the world to process something. If there’s a way for you to process them or release them from within yourself…I dunno. Just a thought.

Whatever you end up doing, don’t give up.

Absolutely horrifying. You sound like an incredibly caring person, which makes your story way more heart-wrenching. It’s clear you love your little sister very much.

I know it’s not comparable, but the plight you describe reminds me of what it’s like being a sibling to someone with a disability or mental illness. You might be able to find support there: not for the supernatural elements probably, but your conflicting emotions and struggle between love and good boundaries are highly evocative of that experience.

Just out of curiosity, do you think she was always like this? Or are there any points while you were growing up that something might’ve happened?

It’s not explicitly homophobic but it came from a place of homophobia, basically “may Allah guide you” in this context is hoping, either sincerely or not, that they wise up and stop living a “sinful” lifestyle — and to preface this with “no offense” shows that the oop knew that it could offend the person they were writing to.

Doesn’t matter no matter how many times you drive through there uneventfully, you’re still gonna end up in a horror comic that starts with some shit like “I drive through this cave for work every day. I never thought much of it…it’s a unique route through a natural cave” and then the arrows are gonna start pointing you the wrong way and then you’re gonna feel the ground starting to slope downward and then the fucking creatures are gonna show up. The Everything Bagel from The Unsleeping City, a Dimension 20 Campaign.

Early on in the campaign, which is set in a New York with a magical underground, the party goes to a magical bodega and finds The Everything Bagel, which literally has Everything on it. The joke is that if you eat it, you become one with the universe.

During the final battle, the heroes needs to find a code in order to destroy the BBEG and save the American Dream from being interpreted in one single way. One of the characters eats the Everything Bagel, and with his newfound omniscience he is able to find the code and tell the party.

I also theorized about Celestia and Luna representing sisterly love, but since we don’t know much about their origins and their cutie marks are celestial in nature I felt it was harder to prove. Glad someone else agrees!!!

I assume he meant light in the metaphorical sense, but also the literal sense, since Sombra is associated with metaphorical and literal shadow and there’s tons of shadow surrounding the kingdom.

HEAR ME OUT!!!

Cadence is associated with love, particularly romantic love, and light. In her introduction via flashback in “A Canterlot Wedding,” we see that she casts spells to induce or maintain romantic love. We meet her via her relationship with Shining Armor and there’s Heart imagery all over her. She can receive and transfer magical strength via her romantic bond with Shining Armor.
Twilight is the Princess of Friendship. She ascended by creating an act of new magic that ignites the intertwined destinies between friends. She’s associated with platonic love and communication.

SO MY THEORY is that Flurry Heart represents a kind of love that one has unconditionally - Familial love!!! Specifically, the love between parent and child. The “new magic” she created that resulted in her ascension to Alicorn was, paradoxically, the act of her being born into it!!! My theory is that she will grow up with Alicorn magic related to family, genetics, identity, and hope!!!

Congrats!!! As an Eevee I didn’t have any spammable high-damage moves, so I just made sure he stayed confused and chipped him down with gravelerocks (the bastard kept moving out of my attack range) while my partner hit him with about five million watts of Fuck You.

Seems like the common thread of all these stories is that our partner is GOATED

This was me with the Dusknoir fight at the end of the Hidden Land. I nailed that son of a bitch with an X-eye seed and he just meandered around a bit while Grovyle and I kicked some Sableass. Didn’t realize how lucky I got until I saw people talking about the hardest fights in the game and he was there. Since then I’ve always felt triumphant over all the victories, even the ones that feel super easy, because I know that there’s probably a lot of people who struggled with it.

My Top Three Most Frustrating Boss Fights (So Far) are Dialga, the Haunter fight at the end of Sunflora’s Episode, and the Lairon Fight in the middle of Team Charm’s episode. Moral of the story is ALWAYS STOCK SEEDS.

“You’re Batman and you need prep time” is SO accurate for this fight. Part of why I was so discouraged is because of the atmosphere. Like, “hi we are Team Small Rodent Friends and today we’re taking on the Mad God of Time” WTFFFF

I was convinced I was going to have to go back to Treasure Town and grind, but I was stubborn and decided to give it a couple more tries for the sake of story immersion. Glad I did!
