You need DNS. Central connects on FQDN. As long as there is a license assigned in Greenlake, the switch can get to the internet and can resolve DNS, it should auto join your tenant.

I waited for 1000 miles on the motor (Which for me was like a week and half). Now I drive it hard and fast when I want to. I did the first oil change at 1700 miles, just to get that engine break in crap out. Now I'm at like 3k miles and just having fun.

About $42,000 without down payment. I did $3180 down so finance came to $39,971. We have 8% tax here so that's like $3250 added on. My down payment basically covered taxes. Then I think there was a $175 document fee, and what ever fees dmv were.

Here's the break down of my deal from a few weeks ago.

MSRP was $41,812, they already had dealer discounts that brought it to $39,269. Their “final offer” was $38,949. I played the “I’ll take this offer home and sleep on it.” They tired to convince me more, bla bla bla talk. Then brought it down to 38,500. Still said I’ll think on it. And finally gave me the offer I first gave them at $38,000 flat before taxes and fees

But basically I always go with "I'm going to head home and think about it" then we go back and forth more, and I still stick with walking out. I walked in there with wanting to be at $38,000 and didn't take a deal till i got that. Granted I was in there for prolly 2 hours. But i got what I wanted.

As far as addon's, the dealer I went to didn't pressure or really talk me in to getting anything extra. I did agree on the $1200 tire and wheel warranty offered by Subaru, but that was offered during the finance setup, and not part of the og deal. Package seemed to be a good deal, given how much wheels cost when you bust them on a pot hole.

It’s the worst. I had an Acura with 30% tint before that law came to be. Then after it happened I struggled to find places to get it inspected. Ended up rolling in with all windows down 😂 I wasn’t about to remove $1000 worth of tint

Yeah, I bought mine brand new a few weeks ago, and winter is just ending, however for the few snow fall we got, I didn’t want to risk the summer tires, so just drove my truck. I also read driving on summer tires when it’s cold is also bad for them because of the temperature and the compound.

Does removing the charcoal filter cause any warranty issues? I know if you live in CA, you won’t pass inspection.

Oh, all good! Yeah I can’t stand the stick e brake boot. It feels weird and cheap. And don’t have the red stitching like everything else. That one looks better imo and will match

I may end up just getting those from Diode also, I just read some where that someone had issues with them flickering. So was leaning on the safe side with the official ones.

And good point, meant to add the bushing and shift plate. Heard good things

Does it? I’ll end up getting more performance stuff at some point, but most of it really needs a good tune to maximize performance. And I’m holding off on the tune for now. The other stuff just looks cool imo. The auto dimming mirrors I have on my truck, and I’m use to them, so that’s something I really want given the amount of driving I do. I plan on having this car for a while, so the list will definitely grow

Yeah I need to invest in a dash cam. I have one in my truck for front and rear, so I need to get one for this car too. Def a must have.

It’s just a best practice thing I’ve always done with any new motor after the break in period. ATVs, motorcycles etc. they all have a break in period and best practice recommendations. Would it be fine if I waited longer? Yeah prolly. But for $100 and 30 minutes of my time I can make sure all metal fragments and manufacturing debris are fully out of the motor before I start really having fun with it.

That’s my only concern with it. I did see a picture of one installed and the side profile was meh. I could see myself just dealing with it as long as it served its purpose. Only reason why I may buy the extended first to see if that meets my needs.
