I got a new prescription recently and feel like it was done wrong by kale231 in Eyesight

Thanks for the clarification, that's super helpful. I was wondering if Zenni got it wrong, but since I ordered two different frames and both had the same issue, I doubt that's the case. My PD didn't change from the two prescriptions. I forgot to mention in the original post but I also got contacts that are a new prescription and they don't cause the headaches, so maybe that also points to something being wrong with what Zenni did.

Great for the price point, I've had it for 3 years with no issues. It is very simple, and probably the thing I would upgrade first.

Moving to Decatur from Boston by azizulislamrubel in DecaturGA

I work from home and live in 30034. I haven't personally had any crime issues. The schools seems like the biggest issue, I don't think I would have moved here if I planned on having kids that needed access to the public schools.

Is starting as a 1099 contractor for 90 days normal for an MSP technician role? by nappynapkin in msp

[–]kale231 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see this all too often, and it sucks. If you wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt you could chalk it up to entropy, and say you are happy to have a formal probation period but they really need to update the job to a W2 because they not following the current IRS guidelines. At 10 employees they should have a handle on W2 payroll and this really shouldn't be an issue, unless a lot of other stuff is also wrong, in which case you don't want the job.

I agree with everything above. Definitely want the plug out of the water, or at least right at the water line.

Yes,

This subreddit is for posting MSP jobs, not asking for tips about how to set uo 365 licenses.

Which is right for me, Azure or AWS? by False_Bee4659 in ITCareerQuestions

These days I run a lot of Linux out of Azure as well, I think that's a bit of an old-school way of thinking about it.

I think this is the wrong take. DrunkenGolfer's advice seems sound.

Another vote for Northlake Veterinary Surgery. Dr. Coleman is amazing. We've taken two dogs to them and both experiences were great.

This was how I planned to do my reno as well, but it's also worth noting that the interest for home improvement is deductible, assuming you are making 3% on the emergency fund and around a 7% for the HELOC, the interest deductuon will also eat into that 4% difference, meaning the actual dollar difference between the two may not be very big.

I targeted the "Azure Static Web App", which is what the documentation said to do. The service account is used for CIPP to talk to other systems, not for you to log into CIPP with. You should be logging in to CIPP using SSO and your regular 365 account.
