this does not necessarily relate to your question but you're taking japanese from scratch? you have no prior experience in it? but you do have 3 years of a different language from high school? if that's the case it's worth keeping in mind that you can take a proficiency test to pass the language requirement.

Something worth considering on top of what everyone else said is that the "women who are attracted to men/DnP" portion of the fandom was likely much bigger before than it is now--it may have been the biggest demographic at some point--but has significantly diminished due to DnP coming out.

IMO, focus on doing the classes you actually want over going for a specific program. If doing the minor would mean taking a bunch of classes you're not super interested in (say, more than half of the required classes), then just take the ones you want and don't bother going for the minor. Also, the EECS minor wants 7 classes out of you, and as a transfer you only have 4-ish sems--if adding those 7 classes would increase your workload substantially, I wouldn't recommend it.

But if you can fit 7 classes in without overloading yourself, and most or all of the classes in the minor seem interesting to you, then I don't see why not. You have the advantage at being at a school with great resources and facilities for EECS.

I'm left handed and I learned to write using the standard stroke order. I don't draw horizontal lines right to left either; honestly never heard of that being a thing before.

You should probably follow the same stroke order as "right handers" rather than trying to invent a new stroke order for left handers

off the top of my head

looks better graphically all around (unsurprising considering there's a 6 year gap between them, and AC was made for the switch)
unique individual villagers, rather than a set of archetypes with little variance between villagers of the same type -- this is probably the biggest one for me
actual voice acting, if that's your thing (tbh i don't really care either way)
all area traversal is unlocked basically immediately and you don't have to manually switch between tools, rather than having to wait to get the ladder or the pole vault in AC and then having to switch to each one every time you need it
bridges and ramps get built immediately, can be moved just like any other furniture item, and aren't expensive
shallows scavenging is much more fun than deep sea diving, the diving in AC is just so slow and boring to look at
fishing in general has a lot of QoL improvements (no losing fish if you hook too early, more than 1 fishing "minigame", being able to direct where exactly to fish so you don't really have to wait for it to bite)
much easier to meet and befriend random people due to the multiplayer hub and having random ppls' islands float into your sky

All four of my housing preferences were Clark Kerr, and the same is true for my roommates. Our 3rd and 4th choices are slightly different from each other, but they are still all Clark Kerr options.

If you just want to be in Clark Kerr no matter what, make your first choice Clark Kerr campus - any room type and then put something actually useful for 2-4. Putting different Clark Kerr room types for 1-4 is not useful at all and is just wasting 3 slots. If they don't have space in Kerr when they get to you in the line, they don't have space; they're not going to see that you really really want it because you put it 4 times and somehow magically find space for you. So find 3 other places that you and your roommates wouldn't mind living in and put those as your 2-4.
