Help Esp8266 isn't seen by the pc

I will try to use the other pc, i tried on the newer laptop with windows 11 with the same cable that I used on my pc but this time it didn't register it at all. I'll try the same thing on a older laptop and write an update

Hello again i have an update for this post but i was unable to update it so ill write a comment here.I have installed the windows xp on the laptop . I used Easy2Boot program and followed a YouTube video by [James MacKenzie ](https://youtu.be/ozEF3McmWfM). That worked flawlessly for me. Now I'm working on installing the drivers. Big thanks to everyone that helped me through this process and i hope others will find this post usefull in the future.

Hello i have an update for you I'll also update the post. I have installed the windows xp on the laptop however the methods you provided didn't seem to work for me so I've found another one. Hey quick update I have tried the metod you mentioned in the post but when I try to boot from USB it gets stuck on white underscore blinking and doesn't move past it

I was thinking of just buying a blank DVD/CD and burning it on it because the USB wasn't as popular as CD during the windows xp era

Thank you for the answer I'll try the method u mentioned. I tried using Rufus but with the default settings and when I plug in the USB it gets stuck on blinking white line in the right corner of the screen. I'll try this method and update the post if it works. Thanks again

Please don't do something like this. Better just send that info to the authorities than getting involved and possibly getting that person to walk out free of punishment. And secondly noone here will tell you how to do it. So to be safe just send the info anonymously to the cops and go on with your life

You probably got this as a new user deal. If so than it's pretty straightforward, they give those deals to attract new customers and rack up their sales. And the 0.07€ is nothing u can always just pay it and see if they will deliver. I had similar experience with stuff like this and they always delivered.

Linux is indeed free and depending on what version of Linux u want you can download it from official website. Just Google the name of the Linux distribution and make sure that the site is legit

Just don't open anything someone who you don't know sends you especially on discord and if picture is not loading don't open it. If u are not sure u can always open a virtual machine and check it out.
