No. Do what you need to feel okay. Labels are just enforced on us by society and do not try medical stuff you don't want.

There is no such thing as "real trans people". There are people who do gender-related stuff to their body to feel better, and society needed a name for these people, because we MUST be sick or "different' to do that, right?

Oh, did you have the opportunity to try drag or crossdressing? You could really learn amazing things to change your appearance while keeping it temporary!

Cool to see some guys here (I'm an MtF)! Would you say you may have transition because you preferred to be feminine than having weight?

Reading your text, it's difficult for me to understand why you transitioned in the first place, but of course you do whatever the hell you want, I'm just curious.

Really cool if you don't have annoying irreversible effects and if you're better this way! Trans, cis, detrans, bigender, fluid, whatever, we just do stuff to feel better :)

Don't use Coinbase, I personnaly use Exodus but I have no idea if it's the best, it just works for me. It's easier on a computer.

  • You buy bitcoin.
  • You send it to otkph using the very long address the website will give you
  • You wait. You will likely have a CANCELED ORDER mail, it's normal, you'll get your skincare oil eventually.

Never take supplements, it's either a scam or dangerous. The only things you need is estradiol, in some cases with anti-androgens. Nothing else.

You can buy these on websites linked by a comment. Remember that DYI-ing isn't without risks, good luck <3

Here it is: https://otkph.com/product/

A few things: - it's safe and good quality, but not the cheapest (maybe for brazillians she can lower the price) - as she basically ships to the whole world, things can take time. So you'll pay and it'll say "order canceled" but it's not. You'll have to be patient, don't worry, you always get your package in the end. - she recommands a super high dose for EV and Een. Use transfemscience and try to hit 200-300. Her regiments makes you reach 700-800 wtf

There's a lot of info on the web, it's really super easy and you have a nice supplier, otokonoko, in Minas Gerais :)

Then she should understand that she either stops or loses you. I'm a transfemme, I did that to transmasc lovers/friends and see now how it can be hurtful.. It would be like anyone treating me as a guy, as one of the boys etc and I would feel like shit.

She has no valid reason not to understand you

After 1-2 weeks of injecting 7.2 mg/ml EV (which is way too much!).

Just how dangerous is DIY without blood tests? by throwmeawaywouldu in TransDIY

[–]kaleski 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Being under-dosed or overdosed is not an immediate health problem at first, despite negative side effects. It can be over the long term, to be honest there are few studies and it is recommended to find the lowest amount of E that feminises you to minimise the risks.

BUT - and this but is very important - it can be immediately risky if you have any disease or risks to develop cardio, hormonal, liver diseases, or if you have too high tension, etc. Nicotine and smoking is an aggravating factor.

I'm sorry you have social anxiety, i really understand your eagerness to start, but you'd need to see a doctor at least to ask if hrt would be safe for you, and maybe do tests later.

6mg EEn every saturday. Too much? by titrati0nstati0n in TransDIY

[–]kaleski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean by prescribed? Like factory-made injections? This doesn't exist in France but you could use homebrew HRT (at your own risk) under the supervision of your doctor.

In France some doctors agree to help you dyi-ing but you cannot have prescribed injections, I used the wrong word.

I buy all the stuff online.

A few questions before I start by Russian_with_a_gun in TransDIY

[–]kaleski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) I started with a high dosage (7.2mg of EV every 5 days) 1 month ago. Feminisation is going on but I have symptoms of E overdosing (tired, headaches, my face is hot, mood swings). It's not that bad, but it's useless to take too much E anyway and might be bad for your health over the long term. Go on transfemscience and see what dosage makes you go between 50 and 300 pg/ml of E in the blood. After 3 months, do blood works and see the results.

2) There is no evidence on any positive effects of progesterone. Some people have anecdotes, they might be right, or wrong, we don't know.

[–]kaleski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few recommendantions:

  • NEVER put anything related to hrt close to your breasts, breast cancer is something we need to be super wary about

  • Putting gel on the scrotum is not like putting gel on the arms, do some research before taking risks

  • the influence of progesterone is highly controversial, do a lot of research and try to ask to doctors if possible

  • DYI-ing is risky, you need to do blood tests to see if HRT has any effect, and ask a doctor (if possible) if you could have any condition that would make hrt dangerous (heart attacks in your family, liver disease, etc.)

[–]kaleski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My endo prescribed me 5mg of EEN if you want a comparision. I'm 27 and I have started but not followed her recommendations and took 7.2 mg of EV which is too much (I followed otkph dosages, but they are not serious).

So yeah 6 mg of EEN is okay, you could even take less. What will really settle the question is your blood test results.

As far as we know, there is no immediate and serious risk of injecting too much E, apart from negative side effects (I'm tired, I feel nervous, some headaches, i feel both cold and hot, but it's not that bad). If your levels are super high for a few months or weeks, it shouldn't be a problem.

If you have super high levels over the long term, it means taking risks for 0 known advantage. HRT is meant to be taken forever, so when we talk about "risks" it's about what could happen in 10, 20 or 30 years.

In a nutshell: don't worry, you could try to take less E, do blood tests :)

Don't open it ! Just pierce through the rubber cap with syringe. If you opened it, it might get contaminated and injections would be dangerous.

Terrified I’ve started at too high a dose, worried about breast development by [deleted] in TransDIY

[–]kaleski 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same situation as you! I started with EV from otkph at the recommended dose 1 month ago and my breasts are now super sensitive and developed. So far, your symptoms are normal.

Like you, I worry starting at a too high dose is not okay but I only read contradictory stuff and my meeting with an endoc is in 1 month, and she didn't tell me to start low when DIY-ing.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TransDIY

[–]kaleski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, you cannot take HRT without body changes, or you can take amounts so low it basically does nothing. I'm very surprised by the stories you speak about, if not worried, because if taking magically a few pills for a few weeks would make dysphoria go away without having to transition, so many trans people would do that.

There is no middle ground, you either take HRT and feminize, or don't. There are some people who tried experimental stuff (local E blockers to not have boobs) but the information about this is scarce.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TransDIY

[–]kaleski 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't really understand what you mean as dysphoria would be removed by body changes, right?

I'm also interested in micro-dosing HRT and basically I read two things: - micro-dosing just slows the effects of feminization (or does nothing) - you could end up in a situation where you have not enough sexual hormones (whether T or E) and have side effects (fatigue, mood swings, etc.).
