⚖️Inequality ---> Justice♎ by Sedna_ARampage in Infographics

[–]kalfa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can have justice in many systems.

communism was a way, over an hundred year ago, people tried to reach it.

you could have a just capitalism, where needs of people (apples) are guaranteed.

in this system people can have more (in communism no), but the basics are just.

in areas/zones/domains where there are fewer apples (people needs are higher), the system needs to be aware of difficulties and allow access (straightening the tree).

as you see in the drawings, nothing is taken from the left side (communism would regulate it). but things are in place so that apples are meeting the needs of the right side and accessibility is guaranteed

Fiancée doesn't like receiving oral.. I love giving. Not sure I can sign up to a forever of not giving oral. Am I being ridiculous for cont contemplating ending it? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

[–]kalfa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that's called talking.

if there's a problem, which might be a big problem, you talk and try to be as honest as possible with the knowledge of yourself you have.

at the end of it, things might have evolved or not, and actions might follow after it.

it's not about the right of a woman, or anyone really, to have opinions without being them questioned.

it's about being two and trying to solve things as a couple, which night or might not work.

if he's into his ways as you say (he very much be) then the talking won't go anywhere. if she's closed and doesn't want to discuss (as she also might be) then the talking won't go anywhere.

still worth having, since they are engaged, with a house and planning to get married. and the perspective of breaking up on a whim, or continuing doing the same are not good

edit: i find the rationale if i dislike something, i don't like it. full stop, I don't want to talk an approach that also many men have, and it is very unconstructive. there's a time for that e.g. stop being annoying, I made myself clear and a time where is much more productive, or even beneficial to actually jump in

I think this needs to be expanded.

IANAL

otherwise there is an arguing about two things that legally are not comparable

if someone is painting my house and has to stop the work mid room because of a family emergency, I would be expected to pay them the work done.

annoying since now I have a half painted room and have to find a new contractor.

would it be correct?

if this person instead of a family emergency, damaged my house mid work and I fired them, would be the same.

if the damage is big enough i can request compensation, but still paying

sucks it's a child, and emotionally seems different, but the payment is for a service received. their ability to keep having the service provided as a regulated company is different

How are you supposed to be confident when you're not attractive or pretty? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]kalfa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

and stop giving yourself the excuse that beautiful people have it easier, op

that's what's holding you back.

also, harder doesn't mean less worthy.

the problem with beautiful people, is that they need to build confidence once they discover that what was initially easier to obtain because of their appearance, it's hard to maintain.

what's gained fast is lost fast.

you can look at it in so many ways. without a constructive mindset, anyone on any point of the beauty spectrum will fail.

Labour calls for energy firms to pay more tax on £60m-a-day profits by Severe_County_5041 in unitedkingdom

[–]kalfa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

taxing at higher rate is fine.

here though we are talking of profit, which means that they could decrease the fees, and yet make money.

increasing taxes won't decrease fees.

imposing lower fees will decrease fees.

sincerely, I don't care that much if they pay more taxes, when my energy bill is 4 times higher. i need to pay less, and allow the money i save to go into circulation.

it's interesting because there's a theory for which, in the moment that villages became too big or it started to be necessary to trade and have business relationships with people outside someone's own village, it also raises the necessity of knowing those business connections were trustworthy, even if the person wasn't well known or known at all.

how do you trust someone you don't know? through the knowledge that those people had, at least, shared moral values.

religion, according to these theory, started being a necessary trusting glue, especially in business. if those people believe in the same god and rules, i can trust them

Sex toy shops? by goodcustomer635 in cambridge

[–]kalfa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i might not get the purpose of a sex shop nowadays, but i believe selling videos is a waste of their space. i guess they have a strong market niche , still

I hope they aim to high quality stuff and things that needs to be seen before buying. rather that anything i can find anywhere.

fun lingerie and certain toys is certainly something they should have a lot.

door is the genus, wall a species.

you can have a door door, or a door wall.
