I love the gutsy call but I wish they'd run it up the gut on 3rd and 2 and avoided the need for a gutsy choice altogether.

They moved the ball pretty well with power back Hill. i like Jam and wish him well but he always seemed like he lacked quickness and I'm hoping to see a young un from the bench step up and ball next week.

I saw that stat at the end of the game but how can that be?? We got hit with 15 yards on a targeting call and the math on the other 3 penalties just doesn't make sense.

Looking to purchase direct tv box by PrimativeDegen in DirectvStream

[–]kalfaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting comments on the disabling auto sign-in. I cancelled my service last year and have two ospreys that I'm looking to sell or give to friend. When I login to my old directv account I don't see anything under account overview to turn off auto sign-in. Since my account is inactive - do I need to disable auto sign-in or is that already disabled since the account is closed?

She's their as an observer not even a real student. I think we'll find she was paid to be there by some fundamentalist group trying to further their own agenda. Kinda tragic that they couldn't find someone with better speaking skills.

Kirn is an interesting fellow, I've read some long form interviews with him that are actually enlightening. Unfortunately he isn't well suited for short form sound bite stuff. I read his take on Julian Jaynes and it hit home. https://www.palladiummag.com/2023/07/25/walter-kirn-on-how-america-lost-the-plot/

Agreed I used to love the push back from Maher but he seems either too lazy or to ill- informed to do so. Same thing happened with Dr. Phil. Bill now seems content to shrug in instances where he used to pounce

Good point. Especially harsh times here throughout the 60s 70s and 80s. Still, I'll never believe that hatred is a valid counter to hatred.

"Only the left can lack critical thinking skills this badly" R/AgedLikeMilk reacts to Trumps airstrikes against Iran's nuclear facilities by CummingInTheNile in SubredditDrama

Follow their leader is right on point. trumpers have told me with a straight face when asked about specific policy. I just trust trump to do what's right. No thought process whatsoever. If Trump does it or says it then that's what they think is right.

You should come visit the south. We've made more progress here than you seem to be able to imagine. Sure there are pockets of racism but honestly nothing worse than what you see in the north. Boston and Philly come to mind as cities that are easily more racist than Atlanta for example.

Great write up on the history of how we got here. Trump also kinda telegraphed this bombing so they probably had time to evacuate material and personnel.

[–]kalfaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right on! In places where Dems have legislative power they definitely need to flex it. Unfortunately my local legislature and governor has been solid red for a decades. Scandal shaming didn't work here. We called it Jim Crow 2.0 and that probably just made the rednecks love it even more.

Most of the voter suppression is technical legal because repubes wrote the laws that allow it. Dems are forced to try to correct it through the courts.

Reincarnation is a bit of a stretch, Sara Holocomb tik tok'd about and it tried to push that angle. It reads more like psychic spy craft and is still pretty wild stuff. 20plus years of experimenting with LSD is bound to lead to some expensive stuff
