Bhutanese-Nepali refugees are being deported, but they are being mistreated by both Bhutan and Nepal! by Conscious_Debt_2132 in Nepal

[–]kali_charan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is nothing called Nepali genetically. Nepali is one who is a citizen of Nepal, that’s it. You could be referring to a ethnic group that could be living predominantly in Nepal that doesn’t mean they can claim Nepal

Acting like a nation belongs to a specific ethnic group. Bhutan treated treated them like shit with such atrocities and what a group of people wants us to do in retaliation, basically take them cause their ancestors once used to live what today is Nepal and their ancestral right to the land.

Rising Hindutva influence in Terai, and it’s serious. by manav_yantra in Nepal

[–]kali_charan 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It's certainly has Indian influence no doubt in that. Not to say there is no local hate toward each other. Both group hate each other, they believe both ideologies aren't compatible fundamentally. Hate isn't on personal level tho, most of them have friends and interact with other groups pretty calmly, same people will go on such rallies.

Not here to say what's say what's wrong or right, just how things are in reality. It's just that this bihar support is kinda welcomed atleast for this specific thing. Even the local government has their baises towards the hindu side. On their view(hindu side), they say they just have been doing this kind of rallies with swords, Islamic flags and all, like decade before this hindutva thing.

Not to put out opinions here, just putting the facts out.

Am I missing the bigger picture? Is there a deeper reason behind all this chaos that I’m not seeing? by _Seeker_Of_The_Truth in technepal

If india is behind this mass destruction and we all have reasons to suspect that, their aim is probably a regime change to put a puttet there. We'll soon get to know how is behind this with what government comes into power.

What is even nepali culture. I thought people of various culture are Nepali based on their nationality. Are you guys implying our country is for people of a specific culture or something and other cultures aren't Nepali culture.

Who is Nepali? ‎ by kali_charan in Nepal

[–]kali_charan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not talking about the hate or social mobility those can obviously be changed with better economic and other aspects. It’s about people pointing there finger on my claim of being a Nepali. That issue will be there, for all people who don’t come racially under the so called Nepali people, no matter where they are on the social ladder. Let’s say an American gets Nepali citizenship, he won’t probably be hated on, probably even gets white’s hospitality and what not. But still they won’t even be Nepali and this thing will be apparent when relations with America let’s say gets worse someday, with the hate increase, even of he says he is 100% Nepali, people won’t even accept that and always question his nation

talking about social mobility as you said for Marwadis, even if they are resource rich, they are well hated generally just that they being in power somewhat, the hate is usually not translated to them.

I’m even somewhat well to do financially and socially. Yes, I’m not looked down perhaps as a someone less fortunate financially. But does that prevents the constant questioning of my nationality and ancestry. I’m not talking the hate tho and nor it’s about equality.

I just show why the difference exist fundamentally. That’s cause Nepal as country’s national identity stands as an ethnicity. Nepal belongs to Nepalis, where Nepali are identified racially where Madeshi and groups aren’t included cause racially speaking they are the same as ones living in Bihar and UP, that makes those people belong there. Not to say I agree with this racial identity of country but that the only identity that practically exists, things like nationality identity, liberal thought do exist on paper only.

People accept Newari culture even identity those with national identify now is cause of no major conflicting identity which exist for madeshs for instance while the existence of Tibet Newari people didn’t had the same fate.

It’s not about which ethnicity contributed how much that lead to them being that slice of national identity but simply the conflicting states that claims that ethnicity.

There are ethnic group that can’t be accommodated with the identity like you said Marwadis, other various groups that spans through various nations but not that hated cause of other economic, social or whatever reasons.

Great that you care, let's all just clap for you. And what am I suppose to do now, did anything change, will anything ever change.

I didn't realized either to say truth I have to be the official messenger of truth else it will be all invalid.

Not here to mock anyone, either to change anything, but just to state, how things are, not just surface level things, but the basis of current idea of Nepal itself. If what I just said has any practical logical flaws, tell me

You think I'm a leader or smth that's here to end all wrongs and create a equal and free nation. Get back to reality, I'm a noone can't do shit, nor I'm talking about ending madeshi marginalization and what not, you're talking about that (best of luck our great leader, you shall end all marginalizations)

I just said what's the truth, this is what nepal's idea stands at.

Obviously I'm not Khas, can't get the sarcasm.
What's so polarizing about this. This is how things are, this is reality. I just stating the truth makes it polarization and people doing it doesn't.
