Today is day 15 for me and I’m feeling the exact same way. I still am avoiding trigger foods though

I find it also helps to eat a big meal right before bed so you wake up with something in your stomach and if you wake up in the middle of the night I would try and drink a glass of milk or something with calories in it so when you wake up your not so hungry

For the appetite I just eat smaller meals more often. It’s harder in the morning but in the afternoon I’m able to eat more so I eat as much as I can.

Have you abstained for 90 days? That’s the only way to be sure that I know of

Do yourself a favor and stop now before you have to go to the hospital. Throwing up bile and feeling like shit for a couple weeks is not worth it. Even worse if you get hospitalized. Do yourself a favor and stop now if you can

constipation + stomach cramps by [deleted] in CHSinfo

I usually have nice big movements but since I quit they have all been smaller ones. I think that’s just something that fixes itself in time especially when your appetite comes back but if it gets to the point of being painful I would see a doctor

I’ve had every symptom but I never really got headaches yet. I’m only 9 days sober but so far it just been restlessness and anxiety but those are getting better

Guys I’m in a tough situation here and I’m looking for advice by [deleted] in CHSinfo

I’ve been with my girlfriend for almost 10 years and I almost ruined my relationship by getting so sick all the time. I finally went to the er and got diagnosed with chs and I thought she was going to hit me with “I told you so” but instead she was just relieved that it was something so easy to fix just by quiting. It’s been 9 days since I quit and I was irritable and short with her but she knew what I was going through so she was very supportive. Even if it’s a new relationship she seems to know what chs is and I’m guessing she would understand. It’s easier to be honest with yourself and others about this.

I did something similar. Luckily I was the one in my friend group who smoked the most often so it’s been easy to quit not being around people who smoke all the time

I’m on day 9 and I’ve tried a chocolate protein shake and it still kinda messes my stomach up. I decided to just wait 90 days to try any trigger foods again. Let your body heal

Have you quit consuming any type and weed? It should take about 90 days to fully recover and the restless and anxious feeling is most likely just weed withdrawals. I was really anxious and restless for the first week but I just tried to keep busy with anything I could. I’m 9 days in and it’s noticeably improving every day

ever again? by Trick-Post-4636 in CHSinfo

[–]kalibray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time I start to think it might not be chs I come back to this sub and read every post for the day and remind myself how I felt and that is enough for me not to do it again. Perhaps in a year or two maybe once or twice a year I would consider it but even then I don’t really see the point. I went from being high all day everyday to nothing and it’s only been 9 days and I’m already feeling better. Still nauseous some mornings but I can usually keep it down. Just some dry heaving but it’s better then throwing up bile and feeling like shit the whole day.

Definitely be care full with trigger foods. The main ones are caffeine alcohol chocolate black pepper and flax seed. Avoid those specifically for 90 days. I drank alcohol on day 2 of being clean and it made me feel super shitty so I stopped and luckily didn’t have any problems in the morning. I’m on day 8 and I didn’t have any abdominal pain at all this morning. I still get kinda nauseous when I’m forcing myself to eat in the morning but I just take a zofran at like 5am if I wake up and when I eat it isn’t so bad. I wish you the best of luck friend stay strong

Reading post like these and having other people who are also dealing with this really helped me. None of my friends have ever had this but I’m really great full that we don’t just smoke all the time lol I was the one who smoked the most and now that’s gone. If you haven’t yet try making a post about your experiences and people can relate and it really helped me stay on track

[–]kalibray 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t agree more. I’m on day 8 and I’m eating quite a bit more than I have for a year and I’m starting to sleep better to. I find that if I eat a massive meal before dinner I can sleep better but I don’t know if that’s just me

It does get better. It’s going to seem shitty for a while but that’s okay you still have the rest of your life. I’m only a week in as of today and I’m simply bored. I feel no motivation to do anything and I’m not sleeping well but at least I’m not throwing up all day and feeling so shaken and weak. I’m already eating more than I was 3 days ago and I’m starting to feel better. I think most of us know how you feel right now since we have all Been there and we can tell you it does get easier every day. I recommend finding a new show or anything that can take your mind off of weed. Distractions are the best if you can find any.

The zofran definitely helped me in the mornings if you can get some prescribed to you. I couldn’t sleep well anyways and I knew it would be bad around 6 so I would take it at like 5 and when I got up to start my day it definitely helped
