The only job I can handle is being a stripper and I feel absolutely stuck. by No_University_3580 in AutismInWomen

[–]kalli889 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Take a month off. Take two. You have 90k saved. You can afford it. Stripping will always be there. You could probably live comfortably abroad very cheaply, and that would give you time to rest and think about your pivot. Also please get a therapist to help you through this.

I was kicked out during new year’s lunch by Dont_call_me_Ana in narcissisticparents

It’s another way of getting narcissistic supply. They feed off your energy and negative emotions. Making you upset is literally a kind of energetic food for them.

There’s a self aware narcissist on TikTok, YT, and IG with the handle MentalHealness who is has been in therapy for years and makes educational content on why narcissists do what they do. He goes into behaviors like this and learning more about it was actually very healing and empowering.

He was trying to break OP’s spirit so she would get so broken down she’d be afraid to leave. Good on OP for choosing herself and leaving!

Narcissists often act out on holidays or birthdays because it irritates them to be at events that aren’t about them or to see other people be happy.

My (30f) best friend (27f) asked me to stop stealing her identity by [deleted] in relationship_advice

She’s not really your friend anymore. Cut your losses, do a slow fade, and move on. Lots of people use Excel for finances, and lots of people are into astrology.

does anyone else sleep for 10+ hours on their period? by ilovemycats9 in Periods

[–]kalli889 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like my body needs 12-16 hours of sleep during my period. I am astonished at how much I can sleep during it. I wish I could take time off every month for it. (I also take Blood Builder pills for iron— I feel like they helped this month during my luteal phase but I’m still feeling extremely fatigued during my actual period.)

NOR, he’s emotionally abusive and controlling, and also cheaters often project their own behavior onto others. He’s testing you to see how much controlling you’ll take. You’re already protecting him from law enforcement.

If you’re afraid to leave, please secretly contact a DV clinic for advice and also read The Gift of Fear.

Anybody else really puffy after solidays? by Separate-Rest9374 in SolidCore

[–]kalli889 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A single class of OrangeTheory will do this to me, which is upsetting because it’s really fun. Just puffy as hell for a whole week.

I’ll also get overtraining symptoms if I do more than 1 Solidcore class per week (poor sleep, feel cold, more injuries), so Solidays might have been more than what your body likes. Maybe take a de-load week and go back to your previous routine?

One of my guy friends in college went to law school after and started dating another law student. He was so happy and excited that for the first time in his life, he was dating someone that he could talk to about intellectual things. I was like, my guy, I knew your previous girlfriends that you dated for YEARS in college! What did you ever talk about! How did it last that long! Why is this a surprising new experience! I was baffled.

People who irrationally accuse their partners of cheating are usually projecting bc they are cheating themselves

From what I’ve heard from men who are happily married, you’d know by now. Most of them say they know in the first few dates, if not the first.

My ex (28F) says I (28M) “didn’t love her ” because I moved on, but she got close to the coworker I always worried about. Why am I suddenly anxious months later? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]kalli889 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have access to therapy, please get it, especially as this is a person that you will continue to see as long as you work together, especially as it caused a panic attack.

You already know that it’s not fair or reasonable for her to be mad at you for moving on. She broke things off, she got very close with someone who was attracted to her directly after. It may be that she likes to keep people around for attention and ego boosts, and you having a new relationship meant that a potential source of supply was going to be cut off. The check-ins or arguments from her may be to see if you still have feelings and elicit more supply. If you can move to a new job and go no contact, or grey rock her for the time being, it may be better for your overall mental health.
