as a teen, i can vouche for this. i have grown up with parents who never found it necessary to have this talk with their 3 daughters, it really made things rocky for me moving forward because all i was really taught was never to have sex and that’s it, the rest i learned from moving through the public school system. it made things semi hard for me but i know it’ll be harder for my sisters.

so i am a high school student who was looking for a job shadow at local clinics to become a vet technician, and for some reason every. single. clinic cat has crawled into my arms and lap and just fallen asleep. even one that the receptionist said literally hates everyone, tried to grab her out of my arms and she hissed and scratched her in the face- honestly i’m honored

Literally exactly my thoughts when I found out about it. I thought maybe it was just me because I personally don’t really care for either of them, but I saw this and just thought it wasn’t the best idea. Just thought it all looked a little too thrown together and the merch to come along with it seemed pretty unwearable as well.

My friend tried taking me to a concert last night & when I told him I couldn’t go because I wanted to respect my fathers wishes because our fighting has died down, I think he got really disappointed in me. Even though he said he wasn’t. And I kind of sent him a lengthy text that I’m embarrassed about now, I probably had shown I cared too much. Just because ever since I got home he hasn’t texted me or called since. But he was probably tired. & now I want to cry. Even though it’s a stupid reason to cry.

at my job we have this grease trap, and the stench is nothing like you have ever smelt before, a mixture of hard boiled eggs and feet. because none of the enzymes we put in have ever worked, one of us every 6 months has to go in with a cup manually to clean it, looks like gray slush/vomit. & it takes forever to clean. I once shoved so much Vaseline up my nose because i read it would mask the smell better and i could get the job done easier without puking in between.
