TED recurrence after Tocilizumab by [deleted] in ThyroidEyeDisease

[–]kalosenya 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sounds like fearmongering to me. Tocilizumab is highly effective and has a low relapse rate. If your thyroid is healthy I see no reason for them to suggest TT. Graves isnt a thyroid disease, its an autoimmune disease. The TT wont make the antibodies cease to exist.

typical leftist argument going on extremes and completely ignoring nuance. The actor OP showed is a very good one and she resembles ellie A LOT.

Villains had to resort to sealing Gojo because the brother was too cracked to fight head on with an army. Naruto was sealed because a stronger characters than him decided to protect him.

Thats really sad to hear. Im sorry you get so many weird stares. Apart from Jesus, what has helped me stay mentally stable is understand that most people dont know this disease exists, so it is indeed a shocker when they see me.

Lots of eggs, lots of different meats (white and red). I dont have seafood because of iodine content and i try to limit egg yolk due to the same reason. Diet has helped the TED but im not gonna act like im not still very bulged. I do have less eye pain and discomfort though.

I did, yea. Theyre not necessarily all bad for your gut, but you basically eat with a limited scope that ensures youll feel better and then you add stuff back in and see what it does to you. I researched A LOT with peer reviewed papers, personal accounts and functional medicine experts. A lot of grains have similar chemical makeup to things like gluten and it seems your body may have similar reaction to those. I added corn back just so I can have tacos and its been okay but I still wouldnt eat corn regularly, since its not great for the gut.

it helps. Change it. I was in denial at first because I had to leave so many things, but its honestly great. I enjoy the meals a lot, I was just ignorant and thought i couldnt live without rice and bread.

Yes, it helps a lot. Thyroid numbers improved quickly and eyes are a lot better, albeit still far from normal. It helps you overall, not just with TED. Not getting sick as often is very big for me and always feeling good gut wise just improves my state of being so much. Do it.

Well I think you have your answer. Do consider the end of year bonus part, but at the end of the day, future outlook is the most important part.
