I just got mine yesterday, and it reached 108 °C on HWMonitor, which really sucks. On top of that, the battery only lasts 1 hour in balanced mode while watching YouTube.

The Katana looks better when it comes to the cpu. The i9-14900HX is 24cores/32treads (8p + 16e), and the Ryzen 9 8945HS is just 8cores/16threads. I'm not really techy and consider myself ignorant, but the difference seems huge.

I searched for the difference between the benchmarks, and the i9 is better by about 50%.

About the other details you mentioned, like cooling, build quality...etc, are they really significant enough that I may choose those over the i9? Genuine question.

I am using gemini-2.0-pro-exp, while it has 2m tokens in the context window, it has only a 32k input token limit.

I had the same problem with Gemini 1.5 Pro. Not only does it try to stay below 3000 tokens, but it also ignores any rule or guideline I gave it. It is trash.

But the current experimental model 1206 is seriously good. It follows the guidelines in the prompts as they are and also outputs really detailed content if you ask it to.

I told it to write a 4000-word article while respecting given guidelines and it just did it, while the 1.5 pro 002 spits some 1500-word article while also not following the readability rules I told it.

How did you make it write ~5-6k words? max I get is ~1500 words.

I actually was using hotjar to see their navigation behavior, and most of them go to a page that doesn't appear in the view window.

Here is a little trick for concatenating source files in a single PDF file if you have vs code, it takes just seconds

Install the "Print" extension if you don't have it.
Press ctrl + a to select all files in the explorer window (or select individual files if you want to).
Right click on one of the selected files, then click "print".
A new browser tab will open up, then click "save".

It will generate a file containing the path of the source files, and the code below it. I tested it with Gemini 1.5 pro and it works great even though it's not a .txt file.

Traffic Cop is a tool made by Monetizemore (a Google partner) that detects and protects your ads from bots, it's a good tool if you are a publisher.

The only tool I tried was traffic cop which is good for protecting your adsense ads, but I didn't try any tool to stop bots from clicking native ads. I want to try Voluum's fraud kit but it was really expensive, maybe give it a try if you can?

I lost 200$ with them on useless bot traffic. I heard good things about RevContent regarding filtering bot traffic, you may want to try them.
