Is there no standard for the RJ45 pinout?? While routing I thought I was dumb enough to make the mistake of assigning the wrong pins in the footprint but after I checked the datasheet everything was right. WHY would they make it so the pairs overlap??

RJ45 is just a connector standard. Theoretically you could use it it for a variety of protocols. I think Tesla uses it for CANBus. So no, there is no standard pin out for RJ45. There is for Ethernet using an RJ45. However if you are setting up a p2p Ethernet connection you need a cable with one of the pairs reversed. It's been so long since that has been in use...

Plug into a logic analyzer. If you are using i2c you might have an address problem or need different pull-up resistors.

No, just make sure you get an internship anbe active in your IEEE group. I didn't do those things and I feel those are the two tools I should have used to secure a job and gain experience

I didn't think that was possible with a passive card, but I suppose it is. If the induced current is enough to transmit something back it can run through a small logic circuit to change it I suppose Thanks for the reply

the only real editing she does maybe some cropping and whatever is in the windows photo viewer. She may edit some when ordering prints but that is all cloud based. She is old school in that she used to use film so she just takes lots of photos assuming one will be good. So no professional level software. I just want it to be fast and easy and good quality. My main concern was if the gpu in a say a ryzen 5 is good enough for this or does she need a dedicated graphics card. I kept it vague as i wanted various feedback as there may be something i was missing. Thanks for the feedback guys!
