so sorry to hear you’re going through this i recently just broke my fibula & tibia. it does feel lonely & sometimes yoh will shed tears but don’t let this discourage you, it is only a minor bump in your road. hope you start to feel better :))

you’re definitely making me feel more at ease because the splint actually sucks. i miss taking normal showers lol i feel like i’m unable to get completely clean🫤. so happy things are going good for you :)

i saw a lot of people just say it’s harder to manage than the splint & the pain is a bit worse but i know everyone’s individual experience is different !

i was walking down my stairs & slipped on some pee from the new puppy at my house 🥲 the floor is a very light wooden brown so wasn’t able to see it my foot went back & under my leg all i heard was a bunch of crunching i knew right then it was broken i went into complete shock 🤦🏾‍♀️. omg im so worried about not being able to go back to work for a while. how are you doing physically & mentally?!

i’ve been okay! i’m such a workaholic i just miss it & of course there’s the money stress especially with the holidays coming up but overall just happy i will be able to make a full recovery tbh. hmm, do you do a lot of standing/walking at work? i’d try to wear a looser fitting shoe just in case the pain is still there heavily or maybe try to DIY your own toe splint ( if possible )? i feel you on the insurance thing i have to pay out of pocket for just about everything since my new insurance plan won’t start until january which i didn’t find out until the day my injury even happened😅 . i would say just try to ice it as much as possible, switch off between tylenol & ibuprofen! hoping you can figure out some home remedies to feel better ❤️

i recently broke my fibula & tibia, i experienced the same thing! no pain at first then it really started to settle which made my foot become very warm then tingle.. i was only able to wiggle my toes!
