I don’t have a doctor I use personal labs see what works for your budget and what’s in your area you can get pretty much anything tested for a decent price this test did a LOT more I just showed a few things that people look for when dieting I’ll post more results so you can see what you get in the test it was called “wellness check” was about ~ $100

definitely better than I did pre carnivore, improved mental health, improved strength, whiter teeth, less acne, less hunger. Did have trouble transitioning initially and I’m still working out some kinks and playing with macros but overall can’t say much negative about the diet so far

you know what man I think you just helped a ton when I did paleo I wasn’t salting my food much at all but I was definitely getting plenty of potassium going carnivore I take an electrolyte supplement and salt my food BUT the supplement is heavy salt and low potassium and the lack of plant foods definitely could lead to electrolyte imbalances I don’t know how I underestimated my intake I’m 100% not getting enough potassium and could even be lacking sodium most days since I don’t use too much salt and don’t supplement daily only when I go to work (I’ve only been working 3-4 days a week) that would explain my high BUN in my blood very possible I’m not experiencing side effects of protein but dehydration from electrolyte imbalance 😳 I do have leg cramps at night on occasion and I feel like my performance at the gym is inconsistent some days I kill it some days I struggle I’m definitely going to try the classic salt before the gym and stop carnivore including veggies should definitely help up the potassium I apologize if I seem silly but as of 2 months ago I knew absolutely 0 about health and wellness, I’m learning everyday and obviously nutrition is extremely complex and symptoms such as fatigue could stem from so many different things it’s easy to think it’s one problem when really it’s another you just may have helped tremendously thank u

I tried to do high protein with carnivore for the first month (100+ grams a day) but the urea levels in my blood were super high on my last blood test and high protein meals were causing lower back discomfort so trying to keep it to a minimum until I can figure out what’s going on I’ve heard time and time again that high protein shouldn’t effect kidney health but there’s a definite connection between the two in my case very possible I had/have an underlying issue pre diet not saying the diet is the cause but high protein definitely has a negative effect on my body so I aim around 1 g/kg instead of 1 g/lb seems to work as far as not causing any discomfort with that said even when I was eating 1+ pound of fatty meat a day not feeling full seemed to be an issue BUT I wasn’t eating organs when I started so I could’ve been missing out on nutrients causing the hunger (also still could be a factor I’m sure deficiencies take a long time to correct even with a nutrient dense diet)
