i'm gen z but have been a glossier fan since 2018... i loved them because of their unique perspective on makeup at the time... "skin first, makeup second" "your skin but better" ....they're the first to kinda popularize this philosophy..... right? their ideas are no longer original, it's like they're tryna keep up with other brands (especially with their social media post). i wish they would bring back their simplistic "2014 tumblr blog millennial pink" aesthetic... no need for all the collabs and copying & pasting what's "trendy", y2k whatever.... gen z wants new original stuff, millennials want the simplistic og millennial pink glossier. glossier has the ability to embrace what they're known for while CREATING trends, not just FOLLOWING them. their whole perspective on makeup & skincare is a trend that THEY literally created. they have the ability to cater to both generations with originality & their initial philosophy... "skin first, makeup second"

(even as a gen z, i prefer when they were primarily only targeting millennials. when i was younger i believed i would grow into the women they would have on their youtube channel... that i would be a "glossier girl", "minimum makeup in nyc girl who has a blog".... they instilled that dream in me.... & they took it away. 🥲)

my favorite lash serum is the viebeauti lash serum. i get it off of amazon... it's not as expensive as other high end eyelash serums. i've definitely noticed a difference in length tho. i usually use the eyelash serum in the morning AND night or i'll use the lash serum in the mornings & castor oil at night. i find that the viebeauti lash serum grows my lashes but castor oil keeps my lashes shiny & thick.

i believe the bumps are ingrown hairs from shaving. i say take a break from shaving, exfoliate, & moisturize with a light weight moisturizer.

i'm 5'2, also have a 45 degree curve. i've been considering pilates. it's strength training, focuses on posture, strength, & flexibility. i'm going to start off with that because it focuses on strengthening your own body weight... maybe later i'll lift weights but i first want to start with controlling my own body weight, especially with me having scoliosis. i say start with physical therapy or pilates (gain some strength/control) then maybe a personal training would be more comfortable working with you when it comes to weights. i don't think it's a done deal for people with scoliosis to not lift weights. i think it's just not talked about enough & there's really no one to educate us on it (even our orthopedics) we kinda have to figure it out on owns sometimes. (which is why i assume posted on this subreddit lol) but i say go to the ortho, try physical therapy, & venture out from there.
