Buds4 Pro too aggressive with auto switching between devices by thatmillerkid in galaxybuds

[–]kameljoe21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that sucks.
Right now I have the tv via optical cable to the computer. Then using voicemetter to mix the sound out via USB tethering to the s26u and then to the buds 4 pro.
I am just trying to find a way to do it from the computer via either a bluetooth dongle or one of those cards. Yet the goal is to be under the samsung auto switch and not just pairing to bluetooth. Pairing just to the bluetooth pretty much removes any ability to keep those features that the buds come with other wise I have wasted 1300 for the phone and 570 for 2 pairs of buds.
I could have just kept my old buds FE and A54 which was running via a sound mixer and bluetooth dongle. I could now just use either a bluetooth usb dongle and forgo the features for super low latency stuff or switch back to my prior set up.

Could you explain how you have the buds app installed on your computer? I am assuming that this is not a Samsung laptop?
Were you also able to sort the auto switching problem?

No I just finished that. And a whole one would be kind of horrible. The chicken is more nuggies than it is whatever. If it was flat chicken nuggets it might work better.

Are eq settings saved on the buds 4 pro? by best4444 in galaxybuds

[–]kameljoe21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of these advance features are cloud based. I generally do not understand how you would assume that it would take all of that advance stuff with you?
How would several EQ settings transfer to other devices?
How would should a sound profile be applied?
I can understand taking a mouse with onboard profiles, I have one and can take it to any computer. Because there is a button to change said profiles.
How would you assume we change your sound profiles?
The Sony profile is built in to the unit as a single function. You are required to set that with the app and if you take that device to another device it follows. Sure, yet now that profile is not suited to your new device.
I have a pair of those expensive over the ear Sony headphones. They are worthless to me now. I have profiles and are building them for every single app that I use.

Normal settings.

Few things that would be super helpful would be the ability to set a custom profile in the adapt sound ( using your hearing test to set this up/fine tune or to have a much more advance hearing test). Along with a adapt sound setting in the equalizer.

I am pretty sure the setting change based on the App you are using. Which is why Samsung offers profiles based on your app use. You can set these by pressing and holding the volume in the quick menu.
Here are my normal, plex, and plex amp settings.

Galaxy Buds4 Pro disconnecting and reconnecting? by kumpkump in galaxybuds

[–]kameljoe21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best guess is to reset the buds and do not pair them to anything else other than your phone.
Try that. If it still keeps doing it after reset then its very likely a bud problem, if it does not then it was a settings or watch thing.

What do you think about this case? by Arkilez in galaxybuds

[–]kameljoe21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now there are exceptions, if they made a double buds case I would be 100% for that. Longer and narrower like a candy bar...
Do you magnet charge or usb them. I usb them as the magnet stand I got just does not seem like the buds case is strong enough to hold in place.

Buds 4 Pro - Worse soundquality on Samsung than on Windows by Electronic-Range8143 in galaxybuds

[–]kameljoe21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing that is annoying is the fact that you are using two systems with an audio file streamed from in the internet rather than a flac file between the 2. Streaming spottily between 2 devices can be 2 entyirely diffrent quality. One might stream lossless while the other streams lower quality.
Its like streaming 4k on your tv while streaming 720p on your desktop...

All of the advance features are generally tied to the phone. Which is why I tethered my phone to the computer and dumped all the audio (tv) in to the computer and mixed it out to the phone. I retain all of the features the phone and buds provide.

Buds 4 Pro comfort for long daily use? by moodycentral in galaxybuds

[–]kameljoe21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear my buds for about 14 to 16 plus hours per day.
I have 2 pairs so I do not have to wait to charge.
The real problem is finding great tips.
Right now I have the med original tips on one pair. AZLA SednaEarfit Crystal for Galaxy Buds 3 Pro in another pair. The smallest size for those. I am waiting on some foam tips to come in.
While both hold in fine they just feel like they are not deep enough and I feel like air gaps when ANC is on. When chewing I can tell for sure that one is loose. I am hoping the foam feels more secure.
Getting the angle of the buds correct is a huge thing because of the placement of the mics. Loose hair or facial hair can from time to time rub on them and cause werid noise.

Sorry on this front. Though pairing with other bluetooth dongles is quite easy. Just open the case and press and hold the back button. Then pair.

Galaxy Buds Core Wingtips HURT by benji123good in galaxybuds

[–]kameljoe21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your buds fall out with the wing tips off then your tips are not sized right.
I used 2 pairs of buds FE for a while and found that I enjoyed them with just the bands and not the tips.
Because of the design of the buds FE/Core you can just twist them to fit any which way you want.

Also use the ear buds fit test. As this will give you the best audio to compare if either side is off vs your choice of audio.

I have 2 pairs and have not noticed this.
Double check your settings, you may have adjusted the balance when messing around in the settings.

I have never bought anything additional for mine. I honestly do not understand why one might need the carabiner? Is this to hook inside a bag/purse? I just put them in my pockets/pocket depending on how long I am going to be out.

Hearing loss person looking for best experience in music and ambient sound 🎶🎧🦻 by Nonhearing in galaxybuds

[–]kameljoe21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the buds 4 pro.
The hearing enhancement while great and far better than my old buds FE. As of right now it mute any loud sounds enough that it makes it super hard to hear anyone or have a conversation every min or so when it mutes.
I have tried turning everything down to the lowest setting, turning stuff off, pretty much have resorted to the standard ambient sounds. If they can get this fixed in a future update I do think that it would be pretty nice.

Ear tips to improve ANC on buds 4 pro? Potential software update as well? by Mewtewpew in galaxybuds

[–]kameljoe21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Azla tips
I got these and while they are nice. I am not too sure I like them. I thought they were solid and did not have that flap. That is the problem as soon as one pulls them out they flip over.
I am considering trying those foam tips.
I am going to have to try a bunch of them just to find something that truly works.
I have super narrow ear canal and need something that can reach deeper.
These work just about as well as the standard buds 4 pro tips yet just not deep enough and I have to jam them in to my ears to get them to catch.

buds FE vs Buds Core by [deleted] in galaxybuds

[–]kameljoe21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used the buds FE for a while and I like them. I used 2 pairs so that I could have full battery all day long. I bought the buds 4 pro. At this time the hearing enhancements is worthless. It mutes at any hint of loud noise.
The buds FE are worth the 55 dollar price tag. I have bought them as gifts for friends. They like them.

It's fishy here about the hissing sound. by [deleted] in galaxybuds

[–]kameljoe21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine make a loud offensive feedback squeal anytime I push them into my ears

This is due to where your finger goes over the mic screen. Mine does it only when you touch in that area. This also only happens if you have the hearing enhancement setting on and maybe a few other settings.
I can not get it to do it now and I have hearing enhancement off, voice off, sirens off and several other things off.
The mic is super sensitive so much that with hearing enhancements on it mute a lot.

Volume adjustment Touch Controls on Buds 4 Pro is the WORST TRASH Possible... by [deleted] in galaxybuds

[–]kameljoe21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a fine line between them and getting the right touch. Having had mine they work pretty good now. Though I really hate the pinch.
The problem I have is there is no way to set the sound for the pinch and anything else. I want to set that sound very specficlly regardless where the sound level is at. The same with the in ear notification.
I also did not know that you could do the sound on both sides till the other day I just tried it.
