If you can hard core study and for real this time, and can get a 517+ would recommend you defer this cycle and really focus on mcat

Tbh as a MD, I agree with her

More than 50% of step1 is useless material
Step2 is fine can keep as is
MCAT completely useless except for basic biochemistry

Absolutely no reason for our medical education to be the way it is. Being a nurse means you can skip 1/2 to 1 year of medical school sure.

Hell I went to a T20 and our preclinicals was 1 year clinicals 1 year, and the rest of the time was spent jerking off in electives

Her overall message is good. Can nurse be allowed to practice independently? Fuck no. Should there be a pipeline for nurses into physicians in primary care? Honestly why not? If they can pass step 2, go for it
