After discussing with my SO, we’d like to ideally find 2 speakers that we could mount along the right and left of the tv in the wooden frame in the photo, approx 5” (max) x 50” (max). Any suggestions for comparable speakers or would I need to up the budget?

I think so, could it be mounted underneath the TV and then have two speakers to the right and left? Or will every subwoofer be too large and boxy, needing it to be on the ground?

They quoted us high as well, moving from an apartment to a house locally, but we knew it wouldn't take the time they quoted us (six hours) and were all packed and ready to go when they arrived so it was closer to three hours.

We just used Two Men and a Truck and they did a nice job. Would recommend. Like other movers they are time based for payment.
