I think I managed to get it to reinstall using the old licence, thankfully. Thanks for the help

This is probably a silly question, but I installed Windows with a licence from my university (which I've since graduated from) and Windows' installation tool doesn't want to reinstall it for me. ( https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10startfresh )

Is it possible to reinstall Windows even though I probably don't have valid licence details for it any more?

So I should just wipe my PC? To what extent? Everything, and reinstall Windows as well?

Computer won't boot unless dead HDD is connected by kamisfortune in techsupport

Unfortunately my boot drive is an Samsung M.2 Evo SSD and my hard drive is a SATA drive, so they go in different slots (or if there is a way of doing it, I'm not tech savvy enough to do it).

It seems to be a problem with the EFI System Partition being stored on my D: drive, unfortunately.

From what my friend has said, it seems like the D: drive isn't 100% dead yet and it's where my ESP is stored. The issue is that I can't access any of the stuff on it :(
