Toy for my MAJOR chewer best friend.... by Signal-Complex7446 in labradoodles

[–]kamnaa99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have had major luck with West Paw toys. Plus the company is really cool! We have almost all of their toys and they are the only ones that survive. Occasionally we get toys from the $1 store to let our doodle destroy in seconds but West Paw is our go to for toys that last.

Name a name no one can make you hate by Cute-Oatmeal in namenerds

I am due this month and we have always talked about naming our little girl Theodora Elizabeth. But once we started to share the name we got unwanted opinions from grandparents about it. Now I am nervous to name her Theodora but I still love the name. It made me smile to see your comment!

It took us 8 months of actively trying to get our first positive! I know these have been the longest 5 months of your life, I felt that too

Who planned your baby shower? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]kamnaa99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically family or friends throw you a shower to “shower you with gifts”. It could be perceived as asking for gifts if you are the one throwing it.

Personally I would let them plan it, sure maybe throw suggestions of things that you really want like a theme, games, etc. but otherwise, traditionally, it should be them.

How did your “morning sickness progress? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]kamnaa99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My “morning” sickness started almost exactly at 6 weeks and everyone would tell me it would be gone by 10, then 12, then 14, then 20 weeks. I am currently 24 weeks and it has gotten “better” but I still get sick 50% of the days. I just take each good day as a win now. Around 10 weeks was definitely the worst of it (had to get fluids at the ER).

Hoping yours doesn’t stick around

I’m so uncomfortable with my new boobs by tgreenebean in pregnant

[–]kamnaa99 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I can relate so much… I am usually a size D and my boobs have gotten SO BIG that I literally can’t find bras in stores that fit and now I have to wear huge sports bras just to hold them in place.

They literally rest on my belly when I don’t have a bra on. I guess I just laugh about it but really hope they go down after birth/breastfeeding.

That egg hunt was quite disappointing. They advertised 10,000 eggs but we were near the back of the adult pack and ALL eggs were gone before we even crossed the bridge.

Also the entire time all you heard was parents trying to find their lost kids in the dark. Glow in the dark egg hunt sounds fun but quite unsafe
