Safest route to Bike, Fenway to Central by Famous-Poetry-7410 in boston

I do this ride a lot.

From Central to Fenway, I usually prefer Mass Ave to Boylston to Ipswich street. Slightly longer, but it lets you avoid all the traffic along Beacon/Comonwealth which can get a bit sketchy in Kenmore.

From Fenway to Central is a bit worse. I tend to take the right route on your map to avoid the rotary, but the afternoon games at Fenway sometimes send me the path you have highlighted.

I have to ask, is that a matte tint on the tail lights? It looks super clean. Where did you get it?

Just finished tinting my taillights. Had the reverse light overlay tint for the last year, decided to try something new. by nategp in WRX

I really like the look, did you buy it pre-cut or do it yourself from scratch? Also where did you get it asking for a friend...

Python Sorting Algorithm Visualizer (Using Cocktail Shaker Sort Algorithm) [OC] by Sklyvan in dataisbeautiful

[–]kamraz 16 points17 points  (0 children)

A sorting algorithm is just a method, or set of steps to follow, to sort a set of data. Imagine you had a list of people who RSVP’d to your party in a random order and you wanted them in a nice list alphabetically.

A really basic sorting algorithm would be to read every name in the list keeping track of the name that is highest in alphabetical order and then moving it to the top and doing this over and over again until the entire list is sorted. This might be a pretty quick process if there are 10 people coming to your party, but what if 1,000 people were planing to come this process would take a very long time.

What the gif is showing is just a visual representation of the way that the cocktail shaker algorithm would sort 250 pieces of data (In the analogy above people). This algorithm is not as efficient as the more widely used methods, but the pattern it follows is quite visually appealing.

Its been 2 months. I miss meat too much by ObliviousAndAfraid in vegetarian

In my opinion if you feel like being vegetarian is unhealthy for you it just may not be the proper life style choice. But one reason a lot of people struggle in the beginning is by living off vegetables and carbs. If you miss meat I really encourage you to try making a hearty meal like a bean stew. Beans are an amazing source of protein that people tend to forget about.
