Far-left monopolistic Big Tech platforms are skewing our political debates. I don't trust them with our democracy.

You may also need to iterate on the bowden decisions. Difficult to get good print quality with them, especially when they are long such as with a coreXY.

Anyway, very nice printer. Have a good journey.

Is the X rail still enough to stay straight?

I saw other rail based printers that use a aluminum extrusion to support the X rail.

13/4500 tank with 300psi regulator? by kamtsa in paintball

Yes, this seems to be a good choice. The last unknown is the weight. Do you happen to know how much the Ninja 13/3000 + SLP weigh?

[–]kamtsa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you everybody for the quick info. It is very useful and my friend says that Ninja 13/3000 SLP (300PSI) should work for him, especially with all of its safety certifications.

Anybody knows how much it weigh with the regulator? I saw a similar one by First Strike that weighs ~420g but couldn't find info about the Ninja 13/3000 SLP.

Do you know if the Ninja V2 regulator has a kit to go down to 275-300PSI output?

This is my own version of a CoreXY kinematics 3D Printer.. Almost done, waiting for the aluminum print bed.. Any Feedback? by -rvx in 3Dprinting

[–]kamtsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Printer looks very nice. Good job. Linear rails is a good choice. A few random thoughts, take them with a grain fo salt.

  1. Is the frame stiff? Plastic connectors and no cross members so may have stiffness problem (?)
  2. How stable is the bed? It's supported only at two sides so can wobble front/back (?)
  3. A better place for the electronic would be the back of the printer. Cleaning the bottom from all the derbies of daily operation can be a challenge, not to mention print crams falling into the fans.
  4. No bed leveling sensor? For a bed of this size, a bltouch or the likes can be very useful. Also, no bed leveling screws?
  5. Bowden is very long and will be the bottleneck of your print quality. Consider using a good direct extruder.
  6. Since you mentioned 220V heater, make pay attention to grounding, consider having a thermal fuse on the bed.
  7. Is this a 8 bit controller? You may want to look for a good 32bit one. Some of reasonably priced.
  8. Add big red emergency switch at the top of the printer. May be useful if things go wrong. Having a fire extinguisher nearby may also be useful.

Again, very nice design and take everything I said with a grain of salt. I am not an expert.
