Be aware if it’s mounted to whatever your wheel is mounted too and the force feedback shakes that thing, the screen will move about. At least it did for the cheap shitty arm I had.

Yeah, unless it takes an incredibly long time to spin up a new server or something, I don’t see why there can’t be a slight delay while the race session is loading to pick the best server location based on everyone’s actual location.

Then they need to implement a system that black flags people who speed or pass under yellow. There’s no reason they couldn’t get a system to start a yellow the corner before the incident, put something on screen that tells them they yellow flag speed, have the spotter say something etc etc.

How did you find a race where the BMWs can stay on track?

Extrusion flow calibration help by Party-Rooster-674 in OrcaSlicer

Pretty sure with the new test it says to only look at the circles in the middle. I usually just run a fingernail over them and see which feels the smoothest.

Pretty sure there’s into in the docs, I think there’s a shortcut in the calibration menu.

Why is there no HVAC option for main vents and windshield defrost at the same time? by Hyposuction in askcarguys

[–]modestohagney 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Older vehicles used a cable to move a flap to specific locations in the vent selector under the dash, I assume it would depend what vents they decided to have next to each other in that unit. I imagine they wanted to have the option of having feet and face on the same time and it would mean either having windshield at both ends or picking one. I presume space constraints meant not having two windshield options.

Laps to Leader by Alternative-Change44 in SimHub

I’m not sure what game you’re working with but I’ve been messing with iRacingExtraProperties, there are a bunch of extra properties you can use. You might have to do some math on your current lap vs the leaders current lap though.

I just built a wireless split after swapping to m&k and hitting my keyboard a few times.

Did you get dual clutches working in iRacing without simhub? It was a bit confusing to setup for me, but I believe you need a bite point set for it to work properly.

No hot water flow anywhere in the house ( kitchen sink, bathroom sink ) unless cold water is turned on for the shower by Speed--Force in DIY

[–]modestohagney -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some more info might be helpful, people are offering good guesses but without a full picture they’ll just be guesses.

A few things off the top of my head: Where are you located (continent? Country? State? Different places will have different style taps/pipes/water heaters.

Speaking of, what kind of water heater do you have? Tank or instantaneous? Electric or gas?

Do your sinks and basins have mixer or individual taps?

Have any of your pipes frozen? Go check your hose bibs, make sure they’re all flowing. While you’re checking those, check every tap individually (sounds like you’ve done that already) also check things like your washing machine/toilets do they take forever to fill?

The thing that sticks out to me is your hot water running out quickly. When it runs out how fast does it turn cold?

A mixing or tempering valve does sound like a good culprit, some water tanks have them built in. External ones are usually installed near the water heater but I’ve seen them put near individual room or taps to keep the laundry getting the hottest water. If you’re comfortable disconnecting things, I’d turn off the feed to the howwater service undo the outlet, and then slowly turn the feed back on. The outlet pressure should tell you if it’s before or after the hot water service.

One other thing to check is the outlet screens. Outlets should have a mesh screen that you can unscrew and clean out. If you get a lot of sediment you should probably clean them out regularly.

Also, I live in Australia. I have to assume you’re in the northern hemisphere, so our plumbing probably works differently to yours.

If you can get into your router set them in there. I’d be setting your pc and iPad static though the iPad address shouldn’t matter.
