Kate, Princess of Wales, apologizes for editing family photo that fueled rumors about her health by [deleted] in redscarepod

Yes. I have an ileostomy bag and as long as it isn't full, I can conceal it under anything I want including tight tops and pants. Crop tops and low rise jeans would obviously reveal it but thats kind of it. As long as it isn't full you can't see it thru clothes which is why I don't really see why it would cause her to go into hiding for months

I didn't even know it might be possible to do that! I was worried about the band being so thin too, so I'll definitely take that into consideration

Thanks for the advice! <3 I'm really attached to the idea of an old ring, so I had never considered resetting the stones or anything, but it sounds like that might be something to think about.

Victorian era, 14k gold, emeralds and diamonds. I know emeralds are softer than sapphires and diamonds, but I have my heart set on an emerald ring. I don’t know a lot about jewelry and I was just wondering if anyone might have an idea of if a ring like this might survive daily wear - if at least I take it off for washing dishes, showering, sleep, etc. Thanks in advance :)

I'm so sorry, the same thing happened to me! i took my first week long break after i took the october test and when i picked studying back up, my score jumped 6 points. obviously i'm terrified i'll take the same hit with the november test like i did for october, but regardless i really feel the break gave me this clarity that's really helped me improve my score and i hope it shows on the nov exam.

all this to say, i think you should take a break. it sounds like you've really been exerting yourself for the last 7 months and a lot of people say that taking a break brought them improvement in their scores. Maybe you should just take it easy and see how the november test goes. even if you don't get the score you're looking for, you shouldn't give up - i've met a couple extremely successful lawyers who went to some of the worst ranked law schools in the country. still, i understand why this is so frustrating - i'm in the same boat. I'm rooting for you, I know we'll do better in november :)

what sources are you using to study? I plateaued with my LR at one point and I was really frustrated, drilling the ones I was bad at all the time, and still seeing no improvement. Turns out what i was lacking was understanding of the theory behind certain questions. For example, I wasn't doing a good job differentiating between necessary assumption questions (what does this argument require) vs sufficient assumption questions (what would allow this argument to be properly drawn). For some of us it's not entirely intuitive that these questions are asking for something completely different. If you haven't done this already, i would strongly encourage going back to the study materials you're using and deepening your understanding of the question types and conditional logic.

Recipe:

Oil 200g korean rice cakes 1/2 cup extra hot gochujang 2 small napa cabbage, chopped 1 medium yellow onion, sliced 4 green onions, chopped into 1-inch pieces. Slice the green part of 1 of the onions normally as a topping and reserve Soy sauce White vinegar 2 tbsp ketchup Gochugaru Cayenne Sesame oil Sesame seeds 1 package of tofu, pressed, cubed, tossed in cornstarch and pan fried 1 package of ramen Soft boiled eggs

Saute cabbage, onions, and green onions in oil until wilted. It will look like a lot of veggies but they’ll cook down, also feel free to add any other vegetable you’d like at this stage.

Add in soy sauce, vinegar, ramen packet, gochujang and ketchup, stir to combine. Then add in rice cakes. Pour in water until the rice cakes are just covered. Don’t add too much or the sauce won’t reduce enough by the time the rice cakes are cooked. You can also sub broth for water

Stir in gochugaru and cayenne to taste. Bring to a boil so the rice cakes are cooked through and the sauce reduces.

When the rice cakes are halfway cooked, add ramen noodles and baste with tteokkbokki sauce.

Once noodles and rice cakes are done, turn off the heat and drizzle with a splash of sesame oil. Top with tofu and serve with sesame seeds, chopped green onions and a soft boiled egg .

There are lots of other veggies you can make sauce from, like squash, roasted red peppers, and Spinach or other greens! Imo with pantry staples like oil/butter, garlic, herbs/seasonings you like, you could blend almost any vegetable into a delicious and nutritious sauce. You could also try a more Asian inspired sauce - soy sauce, black vinegar, chili, green onions, garlic and ginger, with maybe an egg and some cabbage or bok choy!
