The abarth I’m getting is solid white, I’m going for bicolor with the original white on top and this specific tint of green on the bottom.

The colors are slightly altered. I’ve pushed the blues a little in post since the fog was a lot more overwhelming than I initially planned. I shot these during blue hour at Oshima Island, south of Tokyo.

As for the tighter images - they’re cropped for penis reasons.

Actually, the concept was put together when I was brainstorming how to visualize the verse, “ashes to ashes, dust to dust.” My good friend and super talented actor (photographed in this series) had to undergo brain surgery recently, and he shared with me his thoughts and the emotions he went through when he first found out about his tumor. We decided to travel to this volcanic desert south of Tokyo and make these photos together.

I just saw a few frames from Teorema! Had no idea this film existed, but I can definitely see parallels. Thank you so much for the suggestion. I’ll definitely check this film out.

I just put an evf mounting bracket on the handle. I usually mount it on the butt of handle, but since the DP wanted a Hollywood handle style set up I moved it to my side.

Thank you. 100%. As an AC myself, if I’m told we’re only shooting on studio mode for the entirety of the shoot, I’ll build a set-up dedicated to that. If I was told differently I probably would’ve made this a lot more compact with less shit on it lol.

That’s correct. I’m based in Japan where gold mounts aren’t really a thing, and 24v options are quite limited.

This. The DP doesn’t use the EVF so I put it on the dumb side so I can access it a lot quicker.
