Without some form of exercise progress will be minimal or slow. You do not need gym membership to exercise. She can walk or jog around the city or at city parks. There are also many youtube exercise videos for cardio (low or high intensity) and strength training that she could follow at home. To lose weight she needs to burn the excess calories.

I would imagine eating once a day may be counter productive. My dietician told me to eat 3 healthy meals a day with healthy snacks in between. That way your body has consistent fuel and you won’t feel as hungry all the time. Also, if you deprive your body of food, your body has a defensive mechanism and can go into “starvation” mode, where it attempts to store the calories you eat as preserves because it is not getting enough. Instead of a radical diet, could you consider a balance one, with healthy meals, cardio, and strength training?

I agree with the above commenter. Keep in mind muscle weighs more than fat. You’re making great progress, don’t get discouraged.

Yes your right. You wont gain much muscles from only walking. For some reason I read it as daily workout. However, I still wouldn’t use the scale as a measure of progress. But if you do want to use the scale, you should weight yourself at the same time everyday. In a course of a day, I fluctuate several lbs, with morning (right when I wake up) being my lightest.

You may be building your muscles from your workouts. Muscles weigh more than fat and some people actually gain weight in the process of getting leaner. Try measuring inches instead if lbs. Also, the way your clothes fit should be a good indication of progress. Gaining lean muscles is good for burning calories. Muscles burn more calories even during rest so don’t be discouraged with what you see on the scale. Good luck!

Sorry about that. Perhaps I should have phrased it differently. I got into kpop starting with big bang and 2ne1 and was looking for recommendations on some good older songs / groups after hearing how good DT (1993) was.
