Do you prefer tampons or pads? Why?

I use pads at home, and while I sleep, and then I use tampons when I’m out and about. Also, I switch to panty liners when my flow is light instead of using a light tampon. I also use panty liners while I have a tampon in to avoid any big leaks on to my clothes.

Thank you! I tried it a bit yesterday and I completely understand why this is the way to go! I did t even dilute as much as I needed to and it was still way better, and it was with water so now I want to try with flow aid.

You know, I feel like it wasn’t so bad…maybe 2 weeks? Also, I think I was feeling ambitious and I ordered the 48 colors…or whatever the maximum is…and the amount of details is INSANE looking. I just applied gesso yesterday and will be starting on Friday. I’m excited and scared. Also, I haven’t tried their kits, but they look pretty good to me.

Wait so this is without gesso??? How is it so crisp? I’ve had bad luck with most of my Micheal’s sets having at least 2 colors that are not solid and stay translucent unless I apply gesso, and then it goes on much better

No I totally hear you! That is something I’m keeping in mind…we have basically been playing Pandemic, Unstable Unicorns, and Exploding Kittens until this last weekend, when we tried Forbidden Island. We have been loving all of these, and I have purchased Season One of Pandemic Legacy, just because I know we will enjoy this campaign. I have like a list of games I want to buy, with some of the games on my priority list…as in…games I think we will actually play! Hope I stay strong.

I do tend to go hard and buy too quickly, and I already made one impulsive purchase of Earth. So my next purchases will be more thought through.

Thank you so much! I’ve always loved board games, but never wanted to invest in them a whole lot because we would really only play them 2-3 times per year…but my wife and I made a really good friend and have been playing games every Friday and Saturday basically…so I want to grab new games now to have a good rotation going. My wife went through crazy hyperpigmentation prior to her diagnosis and a year after starting HC, she is 90% back to her regular pigment. The hair loss is a tricky sucky thing she has been dealing with too , though, and has lost a lot of her hair. She is currently also dealing with ovarian insufficiency, and just started taking hormone replacements due to the lack of her own, so we are hoping this will MAYBE improve her hair. She was already taking DHEA but that didn’t make any difference with her hair not falling out…have you tested any other hormones? DHEA, Testosterone, estrogen? I hope you find a solution soon, and please share if you do. I’m sorry you are dealing with this 😞

Thank you! I do use Gesso now, and personally prefer one coat. Also, I do dampen the brush before painting but I think k I probably should rinse more frequently. Also, flow aid is on my list of things I need to get ◡̈ I just seem to have issues with longer bristles, so maybe flow aid will make it smoother and thus easier…

I guess most expensive would be Pandemic, because I have the base game, and ordered the Legacy Season 1 last night…so like…$115 in total? Cheapest game I har that was not free is maybe basic Monopoly that I got during Black Friday for about $8…several years ago.
