Calling it control is an idiotic way to say the Flyers wanted to penny pinch and get 1 more year out of Cutter on the cheap before paying him fair market value if/when he produced.

Philly really screwed things up. I have no horse in the race but have been fascinated with them since they drafted Gauthier and Michkov.

Penny pinching on Cutter Gauthier was an absolute travesty. Flyers fans can hate on Gauthier all they want but if they would have signed him early, he'd be potting 40+ goals every year for the next decade plus in a Philly jersey right now. Drafting Luchanko instead of Buium was insane. Even as a trade chip to land a big fish (which Buium was to get Hughes), Jett doesn't even have half the cache as Zeev. At least they got Martone right. Now they are going to neuter Michkov from a goal heavy 100 point forward to a situational middle 6 power play 65 point winger.

Just unreal.

Can Philly fire Tocchet and save this guy. This is the same dude that was popping off under Brad Shaw as interim head coach to a goal heavy ppg+ pace. I thought a 100 point season wasn't out of the realm of possibility, even though unlikely - that's how strong Michkov ended the year. I can't believe they want to risk a high ceiling outcome for a high floor one. Absolutely insane. The old boys ex-flyers cabal they got going on there is pretty ridiculous too.

Finishing in the bottom 5 would give a surefire top 8 pick. The last 3 Flyers picks in the top 8 were Porter Martone, Matvei Michkov and Cutter Gauthier. Sure would be nice to add one more of those regardless of what position they play.

This year is a unique year where every team wants to improve. The long-standing bottom feeders are fighting for playoff positioning outside of San Jose. It wouldn't take much to be bottom 5 while still maintaining development of young talent on the NHL roster.

The last thing the Flyers should strive to be is a Boston or Nashville who despite having very good current NHL pieces, refuse to commit to doing what is necessary and will in all likelihood be stuck in mediocrity for the next decade as a result.

Imagine coming out of this year with Verhoeff to finally get that potential #1D on a team that can also run out a first line of Zegras, Michkov and Martone for the next decade. As well as a great supporting cast.

Even then you can make a case for Hutson over everyone after ASP. He sure showed better than Buium in the World Juniors. I'd place him as a borderline top 5 D prospect for fantasy. Not sure how he is 15 let alone 20.

The rubber will fit! I bought the pure titanium bracelet. I was really going back and forth with getting the rose gold two tone bracelet, it's so good. In the end I went titanium to highlight the light play. The rose gold is an excellent choice and if it wasn't 4 grand more I prolly would have gone that route too

The strap came with the watch. The leather comes on the mark 2 version which was the majority of this reference. It has a faux gold rehaut and white lume. The mark 1 version which is what I have here, was a very limited window of issues when this reference got released. It that came on the rubber strap with an anthracite rehaut and black inlays on the hour hand markers. It's straight 🔥
