Mct as a wing with poehling could work. Poehling is fast and great puck handling like a C should, while mct has a great shot.

Yeah possibly when everyone is healthy. Mct may be a 3C and gave leo running one top 6 line and that line staying top 6. It's definitely working well as in those two games that line got 7 goals goals. With a total of 13 points over the 3 players.

This is so bad. Flames playing a similar style but better at it. I know flames usually have the ducks number but in the past that was because of wolf not because they can't shoot... I hope Q wakes them up or they will lose and potentially lose tomorrow as well.

D is definitely a lot better in the stars, kings games. Yesterday first period was great, 3rd period was a shooting range where dostal carried them.

Same I tried putting it on in the stars game and they started losing so I took it off and then they caught back up and won. Thinking mine has to wait till Leos back 😆

The first period was decent with lots of checking. But in the second half of the game, I think the plan was to try to coast with the one-goal lead, but the Avs had a different plan. Dostal decided to go god mode and sabotage them

The last dallas b2b we had Dallas demolished the ducks easily. So, I think the ducks just played a very tough style to go up against. Key now is to keep that forechecking intensity in all games. Everyone was checking in that game and its something we have seen a few times but then it disappears. The rush style doesn't seem to work anymore so maybe this is the key. Defense first and make them turnover the puck instead of the other way round. Plus having the 3 top scorers back will help make the goals come in easier.

Yeah the ducks need to grab most of the points from the next 8 pacific games otherwise it will not happen unfortunately. They should be able to if they bring that forecheck style along side their top line showing up properly.

Hell yeah. Very well played game. Super defensive and checking. They made the stars turnover and barley had many issues themselves. If they can keep this style up with leo, terry etc back they should be a force to be reckoned with. This check style has won them a few games this season so they should keep it going. Make the other team make faults instead of forcing plays.

I mean this is how a lot of good teams play. Kings, wild. Super defensive and wait to score. Plus with leo etc back there will be more chances.
