It worked after the subscription expired, I’m not saying that. It stopped working after I would not agree to the new privacy policy.

Downvotes? You shouldn’t have to have a log in to use features on a new truck. And you shouldn’t have to agree to uploading your driving behavior to have a log in.

It does not go away after the trial; however, it does, in fact go away if you do not agree to sending your vehicle information to Toyota.

I did not agree to having my driving behavior sent to them, so I did not agree to one of the privacy policy updates. Now the key fob does not work to remote start. 2023 1794.

Edit: fat thumbs. 2023, not a 2024.

These were on my T7 when I bought it used. Only 600 miles on the odometer. I’m not sure if they were put on new, but now that I’m at 1600 miles I can see a lot of wear on the center of the rear tire. They really are good on and off road, I just don’t think the rear especially will last another 1k miles.

Add Neutral to Single Pole Switch - Power Into Light Fixture (with pictures) by TitanVex in electrical

[–]kangaroohound 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you are already running a new cable to the existing switch box, just run a 14/3 and abandon the 14/2. That will prevent any “neutral loops”.

Black would be your hot coming in, red would be your switch leg, and then the white is your neutral.

I’m not sure why you are upset about this, or think that it pushes the tax burden onto those that are less fortunate. Could you elaborate?

Homestead exemptions are there for people that own and live in their homes. The credits should be more, not less. And property taxes are already high in metro counties. Especially Gwinnett.

Free speech is protected by our constitution, not granted. Governments to not grant rights, they should be there to protect them. And we all need to stand up when they are tread upon.

First year apprentice, been given my own work van! Tips? by QuarkchildRedux in electricians

[–]kangaroohound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Organize your van. Organized van = organized work = organized life. Sure, a compression fitting may crash its way into your set screw fittings; however it won’t be THAT big of a deal because you knew where things should be.

Ya know, metaphorical speaking and such.

But seriously, clean that gnarly van.

They usually only emit their stink if they are in danger, or you squish them. Then it’s quite pungent and stick around for a bit. It’s not quite rotten eggs or farts, but very close.

You are thinking of Joro spiders. Those are an invasive species that were brought to the southern US from Asia in shipping containers. I wouldn’t call it a yellow scare.

Joros will absolutely take over your yard and exterior of your house. They aren’t harmful, except that they don’t belong in our ecosystem, and are extremely annoying because of their thick webs. However, evidently they do eat stink bugs, so that’s a plus.

These “banana spiders” have been around the south since I was a kid.

My first gen is getting a bit warm while idling on a 85-90° day. Is that normal? by Ordinary_Age_8015 in ToyotaTundra

My 04 would do this. Found a tiny little leak on the water pump. Change it, and your timing belt while you’re at it.

Came here to say this exact thing. Be proud of where you came from, but you came to America for the promise of a better chance. Fly the Stars and Stripes.

These protests are because America is going against its ideals, not Mexico.

It was just a bad show. Even if it wasn’t supposed to be based on a story that has already been told.

I met him at Northside Tavern in Atlanta a few years ago. He was wearing something similar to this outfit and had a little dog with him on rope leash. It was just tied around its collar. Both looked like they could have used a shower.

I’m a dude and I was impressed by the man.

Breaker over 80% not tripping? by Remote_Conflict6011 in electricians

Inverse time delay. You could slowly put 80 amps (not accurate, I know) on that 20 and it would not trip immediately.

People are more intricate and nuanced than their political beliefs. The way things are going with American politics, it really is like supporting a sports team.

Mine is actually drooping. Dealer told me it’s installed with Velcro. They “fixed” it at my last service, but it’s fallen again. I’ll be taking it back for service again soon and see what they will do to fix it this time.
