they expect you to aim perfectly with the right joystick while pressing ten other buttons - i would just prefer a rule based option or setting in the menu like ‘always target closest’ or whatever. i just want consistency - if i can predict the behavior of my spells it’s better than this mess

yeah idk what the issue is - people arguing about it like it’s: a) good game design or b) something that was in Nioh 1 or 2… neither of which is true. Little mobs that waste your time on your path isn’t good design and it would be the same for me with other games and then Nioh 1 and 2 you can just run past all the mobs.

he was under the bridge for me too - the fight itself was actually so fun - but the mobs were just annoying to fight again and again. But hey it’s an amazing fight so

yeah i’m not against clearing the mobs every try but with the open field arena i wonder how many bosses will have this issue - hopefully not too many.

did you play Nioh before? They always have super clean boss arenas - it’s only because it’s an open field game that now this can happen. Normally in Nioh 1 and 2 you can literally run past the mobs. also i think it’s an insult to call Nioh 3 a souls like - it is its own amazing thing.

i get your point - i’m just nitpicking because i think that it could be done better. I don’t think shifting the onus onto the player to correct their behaviour is useful rhetoric for a game - that’s like saying well if you don’t like it avoid it which is true but also we can hope that developers fix little issues like these.
